For the past month, I've been trying to find the ideal lawn mower for my place I tried those new generation weed whacker style trimmers that dont use the plastic strings but in the end, it was far too labor intensive for me and quickly tires me out. I ended up getting this brand and the ETA for the shipment is about 8 days. In my front yard there is a tall mango tree shedding leaves, so having the bucket collecting the grass trimmings will help get 2 things done, by cutting the grass and collecting the dead leaves that fell on the ground. Also, I have a guy who just lives around the corner from me that did my yard a few months ago, but he was price gouging me and charged me $90 for my small front and backyard. My other lawn guy used to do it for just $60 but he moved away. The area that you did in this video is about the size of both my front and backyards.
I love my cordless tools. One thing that we have to remember is that with gas or corded it is safe to work on them if they are off or unplugged, where as you have to remember to remove the battery with cordless. Which mostly isnt an issue but some batteries are easier to remove than others.
Lots of cardboard for that small machine to be packed it. I suppose with shorter grass you may be able to do half that again. A second battery may come in handy for your lot. If you think of it can you say how long it takes to charge sometime.
Is anyone else concerned about all these new companies offering battery powered tools, ebikes, cars, etc.. and what happens to them when the battery needs replacing in 5-10 years and the company may not be in business then to get replacement parts? Will things just get thrown away?

I was looking at all the cardboard for the garden. 👍🏻
Thank you for the demonstration. It helped.
You're welcome!
I assembled this with your help but you left out how to put the bag on.

The one I bought could be used with the catcher or (with an insert) used as a mulch mower. I’m happy.
Love my cordless mower. It does a very surprising amout of area on a single charge, and weighs next to nothing.
Please do an end of season update after the boys have put it through the ringer.
My only question was: Is the lawnmower self-propelled? From seeing you pull it backwards, my impression is not self-propelled.
no - it weighs nothing so there would really be no point in adding that feature
You have more cardboard for weed suppressing. 🤔

I think if you keep the original battery casing there are local companies that can replace the interior cells for you.
That’s probably part of the plan
