Not so much a strategy, but I think you should embrace the idea that Denmark stole Estonia's divinely-appointed flag, and get revenge by occupying Denmark's capital at least once.

It's possible to go colonial without exploration ideas now, there's a decision that gives free explorers if you have a certain estate privilege. Only get exploration if you need the extra range, I think that's the strat.
Wasn't exploration idea group a missplay here? You get explorer&conquistador for free in icelandic ideas, and exploration is pretty shit besides having explorer + colonial range (which iceland doesn't need)
Well settler growth is not exclusive to that policy, but yeah it's nice. I also forgot to add that Expansion gives you explorer through Grant New World Charters estate privilege so that is wasted points in a lot of cases. @HyperionUltimate
Estonia: You can't be a Republic, so no trade or pirates... You like will pick to be a monastic order, but you don't get the Livonian missions. Basic mission tree... Livonia's rivals all likely want your land as much as they want Livonia's., so that sucks. Maybe in the independence war Novgorod will still be strong enough or Muscovy will be friendly enough. After that, beating Livonia should be easy, but your long term enemy for enough dev will be either Muscovy/Russia, the Scandinavian nations or the Commonwealth... I was so excited you were gonna do the new world colonial route in north America..... hopefully with zero Florida references..... and all you did was crap all over the colonial paths..... I guess its easier to do the other routes..... but yeah, sad face.

As Estonia, because they are now the least religious nation in maybe the whole world, flip to an Islamic lesser religion, so shia or bonus points for Ibadi
Why you would send more than 1000 troups to your colony is beyond me. Keeping the natives is beneficial and you are significantly stronger so you don't need as many troups. In Greenland and Newfoundland every county has 500 natives so you'll always win with 1000. Sending half your army, even if it is an overexaggeration is still way too much.

I think it would be cool to embrace the Estonian melting pot and conquer all of the Baltic states Novgorod and Finland
Looking at their ideas it would makes sense to maybe go sea/trade-themed idea groups and go for Baltic domination.
Improve with Austria and join the HRE through Riga (they always join via mission)
