Hey Jaime & Sherpa. I wanted to let y’all know I’m praying for Sherpa to get well soon. We lost our husky, Domino, to cancer almost a year ago (July 5, 2023) Our hearts were broken. He was part of our family for 13 years. For Christmas ‘23 my husband and son drove to the other side of Tennessee, we are from Alabama, USA, (that’s a 10-11 hour drive round trip) and got a 6 week old husky. We named him YETI. He can’t replace our Domino but he sure has patched up a part of the huge hole losing him created. He was such a joy to have. Sweetest dog in the world. The new one will be 8 months old next week. I forgot how puppies act. Lol but getting Yeti was the best, most healing gift our family has ever given to ourselves. Many prayers for you Jaime and Sherpa, you’ve got this good boy. You have been in my heart for many years now ❤ 🐾♥️🐾
Sorry for your loss of Domino - he was clearly VERY MUCH LOVED. i understand your heartbreak but glad to hear that Yeti is helping you all recover. Of course, he won't replace Domino, but he will certainly make his own place in all your hearts. 🥰

I have the feeling that these applications are absolutely good for him.
He also loves being in his big garden and the way he relaxes and lies to the side and sleeps shows how content and happy he is to have Dad and the garden.😊

I can't imagine the pain he had before the surgery...he is back to himself his legs are doing better and when he saw the sheeps...oh dear thank God he had the leash on or poor sheeps...he is a tough guy a very strong and beautiful breed

Yay for Sherpie!! So glad to see him doing well. He is one of the luckiest dogs on the planet -- hundreds of thousands of people who love him and a wonderful human who takes such good care of him in this incarnation.
Huskies are such a wonderful breed, talkative and sassy, always fun. Anyone wanting one, though, should be prepared for a dog that will spot a deer half a mile away and run straight for it, disregarding cars, cyclists, big lorries, etc. Very tall fences are a must, and if you have one that I did ... they can escape anyway. I rescued two of them with my late partner, and it brings me comfort knowing they are enjoying paradise together, with no need for leashes or tall fences.

Wonderful to see sherpa almost bright eyed and bushy tailed he looks amazing considering what hes been through ! what a star ! but still dont let him do too much as rest is still needed for his recovery , but of course you know that but its easy to forget when hes ,so lively ! but you must be so very happy knowing and living every minute he was under his anaesthetic ! but how can you not love him, but looking at him now those teeth must have been poisoning him , hugs all round today xxx
Yay! Sherpa's Magical Garden helped him get better faster!❤ Unfortunately, he can't run to chase treats yet. You can tell he wasn't thrilled. I can imagine as he was walking away, "Grumble...grumble...stupid dad...grumble no treats, he says!." Now use an old man's voice with that!😂😂😂

Many years ago our old dog bounced back brilliantly from dental surgery for exactly this reason.
