as an ecoboost owner, this brings me a lot of joy seeing the potential they have to keep up with "better" cars.... people underestimate them because they've never driven one.
It’s insane seeing a big turbo 4 cylinder going head to head with a supercharged 5.0. Had that been a 1/4 mile race you would’ve won that. What a race. And you gapped the gt350 that’s insane. I’m so tempted to go built block and big turbo on my ecoboost now and push 500+whp.
@@Schmegil like his build is nice Because it’s an underdog build. I mean yeah could he have gotten a 5.0 and probably supercharged it yeah. But his build is still wins because it’s still more cheaper and still fast. And what people still don’t get is insurance. In the long run it’s still gonna cheaper because of that

@@christalbot8106 I’d say fuel injection /pump. My eco is also low 4s and sometimes I feel as the gas is not being delivered quick enough, idk if that makes sense but I’m sure with a bigger turbo you will most definitely have that issue.
and the fun part is, that you would obliterate these cars from a dig... you are the one at a disadvantage facing these bigger engines from high rolls. Ecoboost are best from digs, damn thats scary.
I recently changed from Eco to GT but damn man, Eco was such a fun car. It's so much lighter, it makes it feel quicker though idk if it's the case. But it definitely definitely doesn't feel like a Boat like the 5.0 does xD This build is awesome. It's what I originally wanted to do when I had it. Badass.
The 5.0 "boat" not only smacks the ecoboost back into prius territory but sounds like an actual V8. Stock for stock, you're not in the same league not realm and parts for parts purchase, you still aren't. I'll keep my boat
beautiful car I have an ecoboost 2015 and a coyote 2017 the ecoboost I am finishing it and it is complete bolts on even bk or I have tested it well until I finished it but it has intercooler and pressurization cvf blow off tial 50mm down pipe map preformance 3 " differential 4.09 all the bmr parts of the aem water meth differential and the transmission is 6r80 now I'm going to put the turbo comp ctr-x 600 weastgate turbosmart 12 psi radium port injection dw 1000cc a cobb and a split second and a dw440 pump to see how it looks Greetings from Puerto Rico, what time are you doing in the 1/4 mile?
@@17s550 it’s the cars gearing and what it shifts at that affects the car. More then anything we have tried multiple things and the main thing that holds the car back is the fact that it only revs to 6100. Going from 7th at 115-120 then dropping to 4800 rpm in 8th it’s out of powerband hence why these cars are catching up. I’ve done my fair amount of testing and we can 100% confirm it’s the rpm range and gearing that affects it the most
You realize how crazy you sound 😂? Who cares what noise is coming out of the car it’s outperforming v8’s with half the cylinder count of a v8. A Tesla plaid outperforms most stock v8s in general and it doesn’t make noise at all. Noise doesn’t mean anything if it’s not helping you win 😂
Get Headstuds, it’ll save you in the long run, I got mine from speed performance Ca625+ ones, also keep up with daily maintenance oil changes and plugs
my ecoboost is at about 400 wheel rn (more like 380 on stock turbo btw) and the thing is, i pay 52$ for gas every four days for this inline four turbo, not very fuel efficient as a daily lmao

I have a 2020 eco Cobb stage 2 tuned convertible with catted drop pipe, blow off, cat backs, Cobb inter cooler and cold air intake. I give up a little Hp without the Orem, but it sounds nice. The cat back is low vol. can’t stand those high pitched resonators. They make nice muscle cars sound like a moped. why why why would you want that hideous sound coming out of your rod? I guess it’s cause they’re just hitting puberty. Lol

For what you can get a Gen 2 or Gen 3 Coyote for I would never in a million years build a EB for performance.
