Great video Sam. Just unwrapped it tonight to surprise my employees in the office with it tomorrow. I’ll be sharing your video to them all for educational purposes!!
Hi Sam, great video thanks! Would you still recommend this machine? Thinking of my first Bean to cup, as currently hand grinding and brewing in an AeroPress and adding cold milk. However I do like a latte and cappuccino so a bean to cup would be a nice to have one day I feel for taste and convenience 😀
When turning it on, it takes around 20 seconds to start up and heat, and a further 10-15 seconds to make a drink. I was quite surprised at how easy and efficient it was to start up!
Hi there I have the dinamica ecam 350.75.s version and I’m currently working out how I can get a hotter coffee as it’s only warm I’ve also set the water temperature to max and is only slightly hotter do you have any other tips on how I can get a hotter coffee ? .
Well done, nice review...! My Sage device, after a year. developed frothing issues. Currys said no replacement was available and they'd refund original cost...lol it's gone up by nearly £170, no wonder they didn't want to replace it. I'm no coffee barista, so thought I'd go for an automatic, even though that would render my Sage grinder useless. The Dinamica looks just the ticket, but will look at some Gaggia machines etc before making the purchase. Do you have any discount code ?
Hi Sam! Ok, Joe and I need to get one of these... I bet the coffee is extremely fresh since you are using whole beans... Love the drink menu on the machine. We would never have to go to Starbucks again. LOL! Great video. Jen xo
Hi Sam! I am a coffee noob. The standard 'espresso' button draws a full shot in 8 seconds (from both spouts). I read online that an ideal espresso shot is draw in anywhere between 20-30 seconds. Am I missing something? :)
I guess different machines vary their timings, but I've never had an issue with this and it delivers a full-bodied flavour every time since first using it. I have an espresso shot every day and have always rated it!
Sam Gray thanks for the response! I have one technical question. What does the ‘Program aroma’ (1-5) setting do to the coffee preparation. Does it change the extraction time, coffee weight, something else?
Thank you for the video very informative. Btw,in what setting is your coffee grinder? Bought a good quality coffee beans but my espresso still not very creamy doesn't give that foamy look on the top. Thank you
Hi Sam, After watching your video, I bought this machine. I am not satisfied when it comes to milk temperature. The coffee is not hot even though I set it to Maximim temperature. It should be around 65 degrees . Is everyone having same milk temp issues. Pls reply
There is no option to set temperature digitally or numerically. But I set it to maximum hot but maximum hot is like 50 degrees. So coffee is not hot , its lukewarm.
Can this machine make a really big coffee? Like big americano? I am asking bcs I want it for my dad, he likes really big coffee (without milk).. btw he looks like young Jude Law xd
You skipped the cleaning parts. That tells me (a cynic) that function is not working great. I'm lazy and have no interest spending 600€ on a coffee maker that I have to clean every day.
The cleaning of it is super easy. Everything slides out and can be rinsed off without too much internal cleaning needed. Obviously each of the trays etc will need a regular rinse, however the coffee itself is collected in the grounds container which is easily removed.
...it is easy but gets tedious. If you cannot stand having to clean it regularly, then I would recommend going for a v60 and Hario Grinder instead. Or perhaps a Moks Pot.
Star is always the coffee beans not coffee machines. A bad quality bean will produce terrible quality shot even if you use $10000 top of the line coffee machine
I have the DeLonghi Dinamica Plus Tips I've learned (Mostly from Mr. JAMES HOFFMAN, thank you!) and tested to acquire the best espresso (so far): 1. Only dry beans (oily beans clog the espresso machine) 2. No dark roasted beans (they are burnt; usually to hide imperfections) 3. The best taste occurs between 4-14 days from the time they are roasted (this is "resting the coffee" because the beans have to off-gas CO2) 4. To avoid watery espresso, dial a low grind/fine size (1,2,3,4) and fresh beans (before 1 month of roast date), this produces a thicker espresso 5. Lowest grind setting for DeLonghi Dinamica Plus machine is at a "3" (because any lower/finer chokes the machine) Thus, my optimal espresso Latte (iced) configuration is: -Five beans 🫘 (strongest intensity), - small ☕️ or medium size ☕️☕️ cup, -with dry medium-roasted beans, that were -roasted about 1-2 weeks ago -Vanilla Syrup (2 pumps or 1 table spoon for every small shot of espresso) -Half & Half Cream *pour cream until espresso resembles golden camphor burl wood *Add ice

Hi Sam, please explain about small liquid bag which is in small box, and how to use pre-ground coffee please. Thanks
Hi Sam, Great video! Thank you. I'm going to unwrap mine in a minute 🫠🙂🙂🫠
Is there a way to foam the milk manually yourself?

Thanks a lot! I still use it daily and haven’t had any problems. It’s still really easy to clean and maintain and makes a great cup of coffee
May I ask how long does it take for the machine to get ready in the morning? Warm up time?

How do you make your coffee hot? Im having difficulty with the lattecrema. It only gives me lukewarm.

You posted the video one year ago. Have you had any technical or mechanical issues that required professional servicing?
So far I haven't had any issues as I've been pretty on it with the descaling and maintenance jobs. Everything still runs as new!
@@SamGrayStyle Nice to hear !

Can this machine make ice coffee?
Hi, is there a button to add more milk ? As sometimes the cappuccino button makes the drink too short for me and I want a larger cappuccino . Thx
Yes there is. You can add it through the drinks menu option as well as more hot water if you wanted to dilute your drink further

Does he look like. Judie Low?

Haha I wish!

Anvie Wheeler I’ve always left mine on factory settings which I think is a 3?
The milk container not use up instantly milk will turn degeneration is there any cooling function of the container ???
There’s not a built in cooling function, but it’s so easy to remove and is designed to be stored in the fridge
Sam Gray with the container or milk original package ?
I filled up the coffee bin, but the display still says “fill the container with coffee beans”. Please help!!!😂
So many reviews are about coffee not being hot enough?
Thank you late me try it right now

@@RC-gk8ji that's a shame. Nothing worse than lukewarm coffee. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Totally agree. Mine is set to maximum and the milk is definitely less than warm

You're not the first person to make the Jude Law comment haha
