You can tell these guys are genuine and are truly the backbone of this country. Thanks for sharing these post, I really enjoy them, and happy holidays to you and your families.
Heard the extra 5.0 battery with the insider and went straight to your website to order it lol. Recently got the new 3/8 stubby impact can’t have enough of the 5.0s.
I just got the new Insider ratchet and so far I’m loving it, it almost fit anywhere like my old first gen non fuel ratchet did, I barely used its pass through sockets but the 2 adapters sure does come in handy most of the times. it’s damn expensive but well worth it, because it’s 3 tools in 1 (1/4,3/8 and pass through) I seen a lot of hate and bad reviews about it before buying but most of those people were complaining on the adapters that get stuck with the socket (Milwaukee updated it, mine came with the updated adapters) and the head stripped too early the guy that had that happen, took off a caliper bracket bolt with it 🤦♂️ you know those are torqued like over 80+ pounds.. I always use a hand tool to break hard bolts then loose the rest with the electric ratchet
In my opinion for the average mechanic, the 3 you should get are the 1- 1st gen ratchet since it has the smallest head out of all of them. 2- the pass threw ratchet for the extended reach and you get a 1/4 and 3/8 head. 3-the 3/8 impact ratchet to break things free if you need more power get a impact gun.
Great job guys, this is a excellent video. I’ve been looking at getting one of the ratchets and I’ve had my eye on the insider for a while. Thinking that’s the one that I will end up getting. Thanks again. Just subscribed.
I have the Milwaukee 2456 for 8-10 years and still works great. It may be slow in comparison but it’s still faster then regular hand ratchet. LOL I’m in aviation so we don’t worry about the torque it puts out cause we hand torque everything. But great video and we appreciate it. 😊
Hello again,Techs Choice Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Question for you. I have tried to ask this question to Milwaukee and their people locally, when available. Does Milwaukee have a 12-point SAE Socket set for the Insider Ratchet. I am a Aircraft Mechanic, my hardware is mostly 12-point with some 6-point hardware mixed in. I haven't come across anyone who can give me an answer? If Milwaukee doesn't have a 12-point SAE Socket set. Can you recommend another brand that would fit the Insider Ratchet. Merry Christmas to you both and your families. Again thank you 👌
Hey George, Thanks for watching, and Milwaukee does not make any 12 point sockets at this time for the insider. We carry a few brands, so send us an email and we can show some pictures to you!
Mannnnn if I didn't have to buy Christmas gifts I'd be buying all kinds of stuff from you guys! I want the short handle high speed ratchet in both 1/4 and 3/8. But then again I want to buy a bunch of stuff from y'all haha great video!!!
I bought one of the first batches of the Milwaukee Insider. I still haven’t contacted Milwaukee, but my insider is slipping or struggling when it’s under load. my opinion it’s over hyped
nice tools but Too many problems Milwakee is having allot of warranty inconsistency with many of the newer ratchets try before you buy because many of them speed-glitch many have inconsistent speed. Always wait for at least 12 months for any of these new models
I wasn’t even in the market for the insider at the moment, I had seen it before but for the price it was a hard pass, as soon as you mentioned the deal you had on your website it only took me 2 minutes to have it ordered
Did he really just say you aren't supposed to use your cordless ratchet to break bolts loose? Completely defeats the entire purpose of owning a cordless tool. So Milwaukee wants us to break it loose with a hand tool then take the socket wrench off put it down grab your ratchet and go back to the bolt to finish taking a loose bolt off? So stupid. Everyone knows we all use these to break stuff loose. Mine hasn't broken the head yet. It's wild that these manufacturers don't live in reality.
He meant that you can not break it loose with the electric function. The ratchet itself is able to be used manually, but it wasn’t be designed to break it loose with the electric functionality.

It’s a great tool for sure! Thanks for watching the video!
Awesome video Sledge! I have really wanted to see a side by side comparison and you guys nailed it
Thanks for watching, Matt!
I’m thinking about getting the OG ratchet. Simply because it’ll be faster then wrenching by hand. Simply why. It’s cheap and it works
Merry Christmas Guys !!!
Merry Christmas!
Hoping to pick up a 1/4 extended for aviation work here in the next month
Let us know, we will have this deal for a little while!

Thanks for watching and placing the order! We hope to continue to do more business with you!
@@techschoice actually, I did not order because it looks like it’s on backorder. Do you have any idea of how long it would take to get back in stock?

That’s a great point! We appreciate you watching the video!
The og brushed ratchet is still good for us DIYers. It’s cheap and it’s not getting used every day so it gets the job done.
I agree! It’s a good tool for sure, but for the professional market we recommend upgrading to the fuel versions!

Hey guys, great video I gotta a question? Any info on the propane heater by Milwaukee. Will they ever come out with another one?
Discontinued for 2025 as of right now unfortunately and not a 100% sure if or what they are going to do because it’s an awesome heater!

great video thank so much for sharing
Thanks for watching the video!
How long is the special for the insider ratchet going to be? Also, Can you tell me what your customers say about the insider ratchet?
Hey the special we be up for atleast a month, and customers love this tool! It’s very handy to have a 3 in 1 ratchet!
I bought one of the first batches of the Milwaukee Insider. I still haven’t contacted Milwaukee, but my insider is slipping or struggling when it’s under load. my opinion it’s over hyped
We had a few people with the same issue! If you send it in to Milwaukee they will get you fixed mechanism for the head to make that work better!
nice tools but Too many problems

Every tool we discussed in this video has been out for over 12 months! They have all been through testing and improvements over the years!

Thank you for the order! We have it being shipped out today for you!
I was about to order some stuff from Home Depot. But you have better prices. Going to grab a few ratchets from you instead.
Sounds great! Thanks for the business!
@@techschoice only grabbed one thing today. But I need a few more things. Will be back soon.
They were competing for head size lol 🤣
My coworkers always break all of the cordless ratchets
How are they doing that?
220 ftlbs. 8mpact my butt. I bought one.... straight out of the box gutless... wouldn't even remove an m10 bolt from a diff cover.
Did you have the settings correct ? You could have had it one power mode one

@@techschoice Gotcha I was about to say that is just crazy talk that they think we dont use it to break bolts loose lol
Its basic, for loosing high torqued bolts, use the manual wrench or and impact drill. Never use a normal drill, or a torque wrench, or that tool.
The non fuel ratchets shouldn't be more than $79 ....
Great video, but that intro kusic is just awful
We are sorry to hear that, we will try to do better in the new year!
