My beeswax candles throw scent so well and burn so long. I use several waxes and it definitely lasts the longest

ORIGINAL scented candle I just made my first four candles the other day

Congratulations on making your first candles! By original I assume you mean a candle scent that isn't too similar to other candles? I mix my own essential oil blends for my candles, personally. You can purchase tons of different oils, it's just up to you if you blend them out not.
