FPP you guys rock! I've listened to you guys since episode 5. When I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011, I was able to get internet connection every so often to download the latest episodes. Thanks for all you do. I tell my fellow film photogs FPP is the reason film is still alive. Thank you!
And film photography is alive & well in large part because of you, guys! You have been holding the flag up high continuously for exactly 15 years today. Happy anniversary und thanks a lot - and I mean _a_ _lot_! :-)
We need a t-shirt/bumper sticker -- "SAVE THE NEGS!!!" -- I always get mine returned from the lab -- but I have family photo negatives going back about 100 years -- and even aged, I can still get a scan from them and not just rely on a beaten-up, sun-faded print....
Request to the film industry: please help us get films through airports. Some countries/airports are good (all Japan, Taiwan, most US airports), some don't care (Portugal, Costa Rica), some actively hostile (all London airports, CDG). That may be advocacy with the relevant agencies, plus compile a list of places we should avoid (CT scan + hostile security). Thanks.
Grateful for all of the continuing producers of photography film, paper and supplies (love XP-2 -- very smooth/30's-40's feel to me) -- and all of the dealers who make the supplies (and equipment) available to the public -- and folks like FPP who promote analog photography all over the place!
