I was there. Pulled out some different ballads from usual: Zephyr Song, Hard to Concentrate, Don't Forget Me in place of some of the regulars (Scar/Otherside, Californication, etc).
When I saw them 2 weeks ago its was a bit disheartening to see how little of the new material the crowd knew. The crowd in this video has no clue how amazing this song is.

People really need to chill and not show so much hate on Josh. I do agree that John's work is really good but so is Josh's. He just need time and space to adjust to the band, filling in JF's shoe is never easy and it takes a tons of courage to do it.
As a RHCP fan, I am so grateful to have Josh for the I’m with You and The Getaway albums. He gave lots of fresh air and good vibes to the band. Hope to see both John and Josh working together as Lead and Rhythm guitars for the band. That would be amazing.

Com certeza é meu álbum favorito do RHCP, o John fez álbuns extremamente ótimos, mas, esse, me agradou muito, tem músicas ótimas e bem elaboradas, eu curto muito o refrão do " We Turn Red, The Longest Wave, Feasting on the Flowers, Dreams Of Samurai", o solo de " Goodbye Angels, Dark Necessities " etc... Eu poderia dizer facilmente que esse é meu álbum favorito, e por incrível que pareça, IWT & IBY é os meus segundos álbuns favoritos, terceiro BSSX e assim vai... OHM e os primeiros álbuns da banda são os que eu menos gosto (vai até o Mofo Uplift).

This is how it should have been produced; raw, loud, and more emotional( similar to 'Don't Forget Me.')This song -'Getaway' - could've been epic, had it not been for Shitty Mouse's mellowed out BS production! I pray that he doesn't produce the next record; hope he stays as far away from the Peppers music as humanly possible.

Think the mix of I am with you was far worse, the getaway is the best since stadium arcadium and I think the clean sound really suits the songs better than a raw sound. Raq chilis is in the early 80's third sound is way more mature now. Class album 😁😁
he plays the rhythm because it's way more filling then playing the notes used in the lead guitar part. Playing chords gives a richer sound than solos. Also, it's hard to sing backing vocals when playing the lead part
Mathew Davy its not the same progression. Its D# to Cm. Thats not the tiny dancer progression. It has the same chords though (if they were in the same key)
