Who you ascend should depend on your development level/game style(early game, development, mid-game, end-game). If your in early game. do as many events to gain BOA. When you have gained a good monarch level and a good collection of strong generals, then you want to think about ascending your first two. I say, only two because you will need two generals of 5.8m to get pass keep35. The two generals should be those you will be using for the entire existence of your city. f2p/non coiners should know there tavern generals and who will be on there list of end-game generals. When you have collected enough generals where you can plan who will be your main pvp generals (range, cav, siege, ground, defense, reinforcement) and utility generals(plunder, gathering, rss production, war time mayors), you know your in development stage. Development is also where you are focused on getting scrolls. If your in a big alliance then you can join rallies. if your in a smaller alliance you may need to grow yourself to a point where you can rally & solo up to a b13. So, now the two i would recommend to ascend one or two red star and do all 4 specs would be Menshikov/Zhuge Liang/Ashoka and your pvp/boss hunter. The keep officer will be used until all building are at k40 and who knows if evony will add more keep levels...like going to keep45. With the assistant general system your pvp/boss hunter will have two assistants. One assistant for boss hunting and one for pvp. The lead pvp can be a range or cavalry general. Whoever, the lead general is....red star them to level 1 or 2 and do all 4 of there specs. f2p/non coiners should know there play style and have a list of all the deferent types of generals that will fit there playing style. But those two basic generals, Keep officer and pvp/boss hunter, will be used from development to end-game. As you get more BOA after those two....prioritize who gets ascended based on game style. These are my thoughts. Hope it will help other plan first. act second. this will make sure you do not waste time or hard to get items like BOA(Blood of Ares).
Attacking relates to when you are attacking other players keeps. This means you need to have very strong attacking buffs to be able to kill their troops. Defense is the opposite, it is where other players are attacking your keep and you're trying to lose less than the attacker. I'll do a video soon on some ways to build a def keep
Question for you. I have a problem understanding and accepting L2 Ceberus hits. I sent a march against it and get a little over 8k wounded. The power required is approximately 153k and my march had approximately 253k. Used my two best generals Electra and Washington. I feel there is something missing to understand the situation. I experienced something similar with the new common monsters Level 45. Regardless of my power level exceeding power required, I can only defeat wounded free if I use my top general which has 5.8 million power. I haven't tried finding out what power level will it start getting wounded. Can you help me understand what is missing?
What troop type are you using? Mounts typically give way less wounded. But you haven't really talked about buffs, power is not the only consideration into wounded, it's more about buffs.
@@OptimizEvony so you are saying that it doesn't matter that my power level exceeds the power required of the monster? So even if I have 252,000 power vs the monsters 153,000 power, I will still get wounded? If correct, how much buff do I need to defeat without wounded? I use level 14 cavaliers 1.73 million of them.
I would only invest in duty gens specials after you've maxed all pvp gens (and done relevant specials on choice sub gens). I have yet to use a single rune on a duty gen
Yes, Ashoka was an emperor and conqueror in ancient India (a couple hundred years BC, if memory serves me right). He carved stones and pillars at the borders of his lands, many of which can still be seen over 2000 years later. Horrified by the death and destruction he caused, he is said to have converted to Buddhism and pacified his kingdom. Peace was also convenient for running a massive empire of conquered land.
I Disagree. Only focus 1 general as a free player. 1 from tavern, for pvp marches. Nothing else, especially defensive. I agree with the rest of the information. Until K33 minimum, nothing defensive makes sense: change my mind.
I would go further actually, before k33 (archae gear), you shouldn't really be pvping unless you're on a server that's just beginning. Otherwise, your lack of debuff will cripple you on both sides of pvp. However, ascending these gens will give you def buffs that are regardless of which gen/gear etc. so that makes it powerful if you haven't settled on your *best* pairings, but still want to increase your def buffs. Even f2p players should get to 3/4 (optional is siege if you don't do siege rallies) type generals built up. However, I would definitely recommend building/focusing on them one at a time with arch/mount (pick mount if you don't have strong boss killers in your alliance), then ground. I would still recommend working on your def gen 1st as you will give up massive points if your marches get caught (which can happen to even the best ghosters).

Well said, blood of ares is one thing people can't afford to waste if they are f2p/low coiner
Gwon Ryul has ascending buffs i have him with 1 star
I often hear the terms, Attacking / Defence Keep. I'm not clear on the differences. Can you please explain the differences and how to build them?
Attacking relates to when you are attacking other players keeps. This means you need to have very strong attacking buffs to be able to kill their troops. Defense is the opposite, it is where other players are attacking your keep and you're trying to lose less than the attacker.

Can you do an update on this video?
Sure, what would you want clarification on?

Should I invest in opening duty gens specials?

First here! Do you have a account I can play on?
I believe there are a few accounts that are looking to sell on my server if you're looking to join

Ah, my bad... guess it's a guy :p
