- I kayak deep into the Australian rainforest and go fishing for some river monsters in an ancient river system. Things go south quickly and my kayak gets washed away by a flash flood, leaving me stranded for 24 hours. I catch my own food, sleep in the rainforest and am forced to hike my way out.

I have a spot I kayak at City lake park in High Point NC USA and there are hundreds of blue heron in the back of the lake and it looks exactly like the creek you were in. Always said it reminds me of Jurassic Park too.
yes the setting was amazing for a cool adventure and then I had to go off track to get back around the flood - i found something even more pristine which was cool

Eel tailed catfish are just so cool, Imagine getting a big fish tank and put a couple in, next free 140L fish tank on marketplace I’ll do that
I do just love them and have grown up with them in my local creek - tank would be awesome and they would keep it clean I reckon

Definitely real cool Miller here in Florida they got a lot of blue crabs and stone crab it's just really cool and all kinds of fish they have I really like those mud crabs though they get really big they must have a lot of me I could tell definitely love nature it's definitely my favorite😊😊

Is that water not as dense with crocodiles as the other areas? You are far more brave then me and even as a Floridian I would never think of that 😂
haha I would not be so freely roaming of this was Croc Country for sure - they are further north from this spot so no worries luckily - now that would be a more intense adventure!!

Does bass over there you got must be really getting and I could imagine they look like a lot of fun to catch too like our largemouth bass here in Florida I usually get them a lot of them but they put up a good fight it's so cool when I go fishing when I catch a bass the way they jump out the water and some of them actually get real big like a while back I caught one that was 10 lb and that was so good eating and I caught that one on a soft plastic worm😊😊

did you get an electric eel the south american tribes along the amazon river have put them in the river your fishing on as montezuma revenue
haha we have electric eels in the ocean here but not the rivers so all is good - South America must be the real deal - can't wait to visit
Australia is WAY more beautiful than most people think. They have the impression that australia is just the outback with a ton of venomous animals, even though that's beautiful as well. But I think 17% of australia's landmass is covered by forests. And those forests are so unique as well.

yes we have some real varied landscapes and some of the oldest rainforest in the world but most people visualise deserts and snakes and crocs haha

Just up the creek from this video is where I went to School when I was 4-12yrs old and it was called the River School and we swam in the creek upstream every day for school as we didn't have a pool - to get from my house to school I would rock hop a few hundred metres - I was quite often late if I found something cool haha
