In the sentence,”yiban shi ni da”what is the equivalent of “shi” in english vocabulary?is it not okey to just say it like this,”yiban ni da”which literally means “half yours”.but this is only based on my understanding.pls correct me if I’m wrong..thank you laoshi.
Understandable to say “yí bàn ni de” but better say “Yi bàn shi ni de” since you’re stating something. And better avoid translating English to Mandarin like this. Otherwise you’ll have a huge trouble learning in the future 😊

Zhi 3 means paper 👍 zhāng is the counting word for paper
