    I've been using Vvivid for 6 years and love their material. Their wrap ceramic coating is great as well. It is much thicker than 3m or other materials and has held up very well in the AZ sun. Glad to see they're continuing to innovate.

      @Bawkzers 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Really? Vvivid was one of the worst for me and I've used 3M, Avery, Hexis and KPMF. As you mentioned, the material is thick but that makes it a nightmare to install on difficult cars. It really wasn't a good experience.

      Same here, Vvivid just seem to work better for me. I do normally work with flat or satin colors, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I live in Alaska and haven't had any issues.

My old Bra was so badly damaged by bugs there was no point in even having it on and you could not clean it? Would love to know how this thing deals with bugs over rocks.

    Would ceramic coating change the finish of the matte? Love it!

    • @CKWraps
      @CKWraps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's possible for it to change the finish, but majority of the time it isn't noticeable if the product is applied thoroughly. I'd suggest testing some on a scrap piece of film before doing it on the vehicle. My experience with coating over matte and satin films is that it only changes the finish for the better. Meaning that the coatings tend to add more depth and vibrancy to the color.

    Hey CK, do you have any thoughts on the Vvivid ColorFusion compared to Flexishield's Cosmetic PPF. ColorFusion appears to be a bit thinner than the Flexishield product but potentially easier to work with as well as cheaper from what I can see.

    • @CKWraps
      @CKWraps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both are totally different when it comes to installation, which is why I have a dual certification cosmetic PPF course that teaches and certifies with both Flexishield and Vvivid. I have some inside information on Flexishield and they're in the process of developing an updated version 2 of their current cosmetic PPF. I'm excited to get some, hopefully soon! As for price, Vvivid is a massive company and they can more than likely afford to scale production up higher than a smaller company like Flexishield which is one reason why the cost is lower. As popularity grows (and it will) then I'm certain that Flexishield will be able to lower their overall costs and pricing to follow.

    • @Orphan707
      @Orphan707 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CKWrapsThanks for the response. Any chance you will be comparing ColorFusion to Flexishield in the future and was there a rough timeline for the Flexishield V2 product? I recall (but may be wrong) that Flexishield is 8.5mil vs the 6.5mil of ColorFusion so I wonder if there is much difference in how much protection they can offer. I have the Flexishield color sample book and a lot of their gloss films seem hard to beat so I'm looking forward to see what Vvivid offer.

    • @CKWraps
      @CKWraps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Orphan707 I may do a comparison when version 2 comes out, but for now I don't have an eta on that. It's hard to compare both right now because they are totally different. I'd like to see Flexishield close the gap a little with their version 2 before getting too much into how each one is.
