Kask Valegro Bike Helmet: My First Impression

  • In this video I review the Kask Valegro which is the company’s first climbing-specific helmet and most ventilated to date . I rate it based on several criteria and compare it to other Kask helmets I have used over the years, including the Protone, Mojito and Vertigo helmets.

    Protone Icon is pretty mushroom which is a big negative.

    Kask's listed weights are for European helmets. Helmets for the US (and Australia) are required to have more foam... hence the higher weight you observed.

    As a fellow balding man, im not in favor of those helmets that show too much of our forehead

      I always wear a Halo scull cap under my helmet. Hides bald spots, keeps sweat out of your eyes, cools your head with your own sweat, and prevents sunburns
