Years ago I moved from the east coast of US to Colorado. One of my holiday gifts that year was a western themed "soup in a jar". What a big hit it was as a gift received. One family member even asked for it again, he enjoyed the soup and convenience so much!
I give gloves with a note that says I glove you. A bit of popcorn some hot chocolate and a digital movie. A whisk with a bite of candy inside. Add a note that says I whisk you a Merry Christmas. A cup with an envelope of hot chocolate and their favorite candy. This note says have a break on me. A container filled with cards, dice and small games. I've done all of these. God bless
Bamboo toothbrush, reusable travel straw and/or cutlery in glass, metal or bamboo. It's a bit pricy upfront but metal saftey razor where you only toss the metal blade will save you lots of money in the long run, look super classy and reduce plastic waste. I love all the consumable items like coffeee, tea, snacks and beauty products, as long as it's definitely something they will use anyways.
Great ideas! Ebooks are good. Museum membership. Offer to babysit, if they have kids, so the parents can have a night out. Babysitter’s are expensive! Restaurant gift card. Can I dovetail on Eamon's suggestion for tools? How about, for anyone who lives in a city that has this, get them a year's membership to a tool library!! In Toronto, I think we have 3 now! I think other cities in Canada that have them are: Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver. Probably more, but that's all I'm aware of. In the US, I think Baltimore and Seattle? Again, I'm sure there's more than that.

Also for minimalists, if your loved one is really into a certain causes or charity, you can donate in their name or go to that charity's gift shop and purchase them something, so the proceeds go to their fave charity. This is a tradition with my sister and I, every year I get her a calendar (and other stuff) from a charity that could really use the extra ching...this year it is from The Gentle Barn, they are a small animal sanctuary that provides prosthetics to mostly farm animals that have lost a limb, etc. many rescued from slaughter houses, etc. The cool thing about the calendar too is that every month you get to read the story of that month's animal.

This is why I ONLY ever get wide mouth water bottles (or I just use a mason jar) so they can be scrubbed with a dish brush. All those fancy water bottles with tiny openings 🤦♀️ Also, loving all the smooches. 😘
I once gave a Petro Canada card to my girlfriend for Xmas. My line of thought was the following : for sure it will be useful so of course it makes a amazing gift. Turns out I was wrong! I was told it was the most boring gift ever! lol

I know it sounds (is) easy but we'd love to see a shop to sale vid with you buying, deconstructing, arranging?, sticking, possibly selling? Also, deconstruct something tea or chai based and use it on your stand for talking point and cross well. Love it and will most definitely be giving it a go. Great ideas for just about anyone, really! As an artist I LOVE the idea of Deconstruction Art; the camera looked amazing! I may have to try a few pieces and see if I can find or create a market 😆. I’m moving back to the Florida Keys soon where fishing is king so I’m thinking old fishing reels, poles and tackle would be awesome & welcomed....also thinking small-ish kitchen appliances (hint, hint Eamon). Small blenders, coffee and tea things, the old electric juicers, fruit and vegetable peelers, you get the idea. I did the water bottle gifts this year. I also use a bottle brush, so I don’t have that grossness inside my bottle.

Great ideas for just about anyone, really! As an artist I LOVE the idea of Deconstruction Art; the camera looked amazing! I may have to try a few pieces and see if I can find or create a market 😆. I’m moving back to the Florida Keys soon where fishing is king so I’m thinking old fishing reels, poles and tackle would be awesome & welcomed....also thinking small-ish kitchen appliances (hint, hint Eamon). Small blenders, coffee and tea things, the old electric juicers, fruit and vegetable peelers, you get the idea. Anyway, loved the video & actually got a couple of last minute gift idea from it; thanks! Happy Holidays to both of you & your families🎄☃️🎄! PS: old clocks, watches, kitchen timers.....lol
