Your welcome, wish I knew that other seller, but most times I do deal within the US, bu sometimes we do need to go outside the country we live in. That is one good thing of the net, search for what we need.

Thanks Roberta! I was about to trash my LK 100 because the carriage was hanging up in the needles so badly! I never knew my machine even HAD a sponge strip!

+Karen Johnson So glad you found my video. Many of machines were handed off as only the sponge strip or bar needed replacing but many don't realize it. I recall one machine I bought years ago, I was told the sponge bar was brand new. Only to find out a couple weeks later that it wasn't. Just goes to show you that someone will lie through their teeth to make a sale. I do not believe in lying and when I sell one of my machines, I let all know what may be wrong with it. Most times it is just a little rust here and there that never did stop the machine from knitting.
Hope you get to make many things with your LK100. Berda

Many people buy a used machine and then because the sponge strip/bar needs replacing and they don't know it, they sell it and could have had a working machine, so I had to do this when I received this lk150 as missed it with the lk100 before. Then having some old bars that show how they look, also was able to show that as well.

Your not the only one, we are human and we do make mistakes, if anyone tells you they are perfect, must be a God.

Thank you Roberta, I have been avoiding replacing the sponge in my LK100.

+CleverEwe When we don't know what we need to do, things can seem hard but once we do it, we slap our foreheads knowing that it was easy after all. But then sometimes we can take 2 or 3 times before we get that thing done also. Glad one of my videos was of great help to you.

+Roberta Rose Kelley My new2me Brother KX395 just arrived with a DEAD spongebar. My heart sinks when I think of getting THAT sponge replaced. Definitely a job for DH.

My KX350 had a fender bender (which apparently nobody knows how it happened!) and one of the little ‘wings’/striker plate sections on the knitting bed snapped off. What will happen if I try to knit with it as is?

Isn't that always the way, no one knows. Are you speaking of the plastic end of the bed? I think you would be find to work with it, sorry for the delay here. If the carriage tends to get snagged on it, then just don't push the carriage all that way is all. You may just have less needles to work with but maybe you can find a machine that is not complete so that you will have a good bed again.

The caps that you have on your needle butt will those fit on my needle machine KX350 knitting

Yes they will, I do have a couple videos using my KX350 that I put the rollers on the needle butts and the carriage does work much smoothly. And then come to find out, the needles for the LK150 are the same for the older brother/knit king mid-gauge machines also.
