In 1987,when this album was released,I was doing my masters in mathematics.Later on,I started my career as lecturer in mathematics. After rolling down through 37 years,I'm at the end of my teaching career, but this beautiful song is still so haunting & so much nostalgic, that many events flash down through my memory, whenever I listen to this master-piece of all time. ❤❤❤
Thank you for updating the visuals to one of the greatest tracks of all time, and one of the best reasons to learn the oboe at school anyone could ask for. Haunting and magnificent.
Like a well written story your music show a story of love and passion, this is candy for the scenes, just wonderful, remastered too perfection, cheers mates, Neil.
This reminds me of my father, an artist, but due to life, his artistic skills were required by Scotland Yard, and for most of my childhood, my father was missing chasing counterfeit artists and money counterfeiters because he was that good. So when I hear this song, this is my father living his real life, not the world his skills wanted, he just wanted to paint.
Un tema inolvidable parte del soundtrack de mi vida en el cual una vez tuve que tomar una decisión muy importante y me acompañaba esta hermosa canción, grande Icehouse.
I go straight to the original because it is superb….. Too many versions of Michael Paynter which I really do not like because they sound as if he’s trying too hard and sung too forcefully.

I remember being a little kid playing with my toys in the lounge listening to this. Life was pretty simple back then.
It never grows old. Just as beautiful back then as it is today.
I so love this song. Thanks for taking the time to upgrade the video quality of these videos. Excellent song, excellent video.
Yes so many of us are
Coloured
And Colours mean nothing unless .it's
Splattered on to a blank canvas.
Beautiful song from a great album. Icehouse was unique in every way.
Actually it was as far from unique as one can get
This doesn't diminish the beauty in songs like this
Timeless music! You can still listen to it today!
Wonderful and personal song. The new remaster sounds and looks Awesome. All of the remasters are a treat ❤🎉❤🎉
A tribute to Iva’s (late) father. Gorgeous song and clip❤
When did he die
Amazing classic song! Thanks, we really need this to refresh our hearts.
When this cd released in '87...i would listen to it on constant play to distraction 😎
Loved this album still a favorite 37 years later!
That was then and this being now, so many years from then, I now understand this in a way I never could back then.

In 1987 I heard this song for the first time. In 2024 I feel this song. A timeless classic; an iconic Australian song.

Illustrious Composer Magnificent Work of Art ❤ the track 💖💖💖💖💖
I was living with a girlfriend who was also a painter when this came out and she used to play it over and over. I still think of her when I hear it.

The painter looks like Robert De Niro
I thought he looked more like Jonathan Pryce.
