    Sir last question me u said ki resonating structure k vajah se stabity aari.but side pehle u told ki stability and number of resonating structure k inverse relation hoga..

      I think stabilization AFTER adding H+ is good, because that means the amine will donate electrons easily since it attains a stable structure
      But if the amine is already resonance stabilized then it won't donate electrons easily

    Sir agar kisi question mein 2 double bonds ho aur resonance bhi ho rhi ho aur dusre wale mein agar ek hi double bond ho but wo resonance mein na ja rha ho toh kisko jyada stable manenge????

    Guruji but lone pair in pyridine is in pure p orbital vs piperidine in sp3 so shouldn't pyridine easily able to donate e- pair ?

      Waise to aapka comment 1 year purana hai..
      Par mera v yahi ques tha.. Or sath me ye v ke 4th wale ka 3.R.S hoga or 1st wale ka 2.R.S hai agr.. To basicity, resonating structure ke inversly proportional hota hai.. To 2.R.S wala zada basic hoga na 3.R.S wale se.. Or ye v hai ke 1st wale me +l group v hai.. So,
      1st is more basic than 4th...
      .
      Agr aapka is 1 year me ye clear ho gya h to please mera v clear kar dijiye🙏🙏🙏

      Inductive effect ka aukad resonance se bahut kam hota hai aur resonating structures ke inversely proportional tab hoga jab pure compound ki baat karen sir ne pure ki nahi ki usme h+ lagake kiya jisse ulta effect ho gaya

    Sir why (ph)N(+)h2 i.e diphenyl ammonium ion a weak base as you said in your lecture?
    Sir but both phenyl rings can help in resonance and stabilise the charge.

      Ph--- group in this case will not operate resonance effect because nitrogen cannot make 5 bond due to unavailability of d orbital (Ph==NH²+----Ph)

      Yah but they stabilize the lone pair. Thus there is not lone pair available for bonding as a base. Hence it is a weak base.

      Because ethyl shows better +I then methyl which compensates the losa of stability by less solvation energy..

    Sir in the video of inductive effect you told us that NR3+ exerts-I effect hence the nitrogen atom here will be highly unstable but how here nitrogen atom is more stable. Please explain sir!
