First I want to say thank you for serving our country and secondly I'm going to say I'm grateful for your videos teaching us you're a really good teacher may God bless you
That's a really well thought out system, I can't wait to see what they come out with as accessories and how much storage you get in the power banks. Party at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the grandchildren! You can't get any better than that!
Wow! That's exactly 💯 what I am looking for! Thank you so much. I'd live to know how long they last. I've bought some that are junk and have never worked and others that I still use!(20,000Mah). Would have love prices for each and all together but lucky for you I don't mind researching things! Haha! Couldn't live without you! For real! Thank you!
also it looks like the lights would work with usb extension cables this means you could make a relay that would fit in line to create a strobe/sos/morse signalling with the light panel...
I have a few “outdoor powerbanks” and this one is by far the best I’ve ever used. These things are absolute tanks and just getting a hands on experience you can tell these are quality items. Great video, sir!
I bought the solar panel a few months ago. I frequently go out on backpacking trips that take several days even up to a week. I used to bring several large banks with me to keep my headlamp and phone charged. I love the solar panel it does great. I only have the two panel one. I’ve been using it with my little 5000 mA battery, but after this video I think I’m going to purchase their 15,000 mA battery
Very nice system. A bit pricey but what quality product isn't. My mother had a small, framed cross stitch saying, "Things of Quality Have No Fear Of Time."
My understanding is that you can charge the battery while also using the battery to charge up your electronic devices. Pass thru charging. That is a very handy feature.
I have been looking at these for a while. After watching this review, I pulled the trigger and purchased the same kit as you reviewed. I have been using it for a few weeks now and find this system to be outstanding. This is an awesome system for outdoor use. Thanks for all you do Dave. Looking forward to seeing you in May.
Ordered 1 the night you put the video up solar panel an the dual block got it yesterday have used it 1 time I'm impressed just Ordered the 2 lights ......thanks Dave for turning me on to it once it gets more use I'll report more
Dave I know this comment is probably going to get drowned out in all the rest, however I would like to thank you for continuing supply of options for people to use in survival situations. Your education has been a blessing to many people for many years.. Going back to your long range hunter series. I would love to see a realistic long range survival on foot load out. Where we are not looking to be setting up many long term/short term traps every night. But be looking to cross long distances in short amount of time. A long range get home survival scenario. God bless you Dave and thank you for what you do for our families, our communities, and ourselves. I’ll always promise to be back to support you by watching another video when it drops.
I’ve been eyeing these on Amazon for several months now and keep finding something else I need more. The durability and waterproof/resistant factor is a huge standout in comparison to the competition. Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to check them out myself sometime soon.
That looks super cool and I’m not much for some modern gear because of hit and miss durability but if that thing is a true tank I would definitely get one for a more sustainable power system than bags of AAA 😂.
Hi Dave, after about 7 to 8 months of use of the Nestout product, what do you think of it compared to the Powerfilm lightSaver Max? I am thinking of getting the Nestout or the lightSaver Max for backpacking. Your thoughts on what you think might be good fit for backpacking would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Henry
I've read a lot of people having issues with these just not working or bricking in the field and not charging their electronics. I decided to stick with the Anker powerbanks because their QC seems to be better
Hey Dave it's Mike from MC Ranch Overland here in canada. I think you said 1,000 milliamps and 1500 milliamps. I'm pretty sure the small one is 10000 milliamps and the big one is 15,000. Cheers and happy New year to you and your family very sincerely Mike.🤠
I'm not impressed with the separate collar for the light accessories... A small piece that would easily go missing. It'd be better if it were a cannon plug-style collar that remains on the main lamp piece... Plug in and screw down.
Thanks for the review. Really like the Ruggedized battery. How tough do you feel the panels are? Would hate to loose the light adapter collar. Happy new year!
That charging cable is awful short. Other than that, it seems like a decent item, with a decent price. Happy New Year Dave. Thank you for so many great, informative videos.
Sure, they look great but they should have incorporated a divot for a bow drill. And does it take Glock mags? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 All kidding aside looks like some rugged outdoor power.
I misspoke in the video batteries are 10,000 and 15,000 mAh
First I want to say thank you for serving our country and secondly I'm going to say I'm grateful for your videos teaching us you're a really good teacher may God bless you
I have the 15,000 battery and both lights and they are great. Both lights are bright and being water proof is a huge plus.
That's a really well thought out system, I can't wait to see what they come out with as accessories and how much storage you get in the power banks. Party at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the grandchildren! You can't get any better than that!
Okay this looks like it would be a perfect setup for powering lighting while camping. Really liking the look of this charging package.
С Новым 2024 годом!
Feliz Ano Novo Dave para você e sua família, um grande abraço aqui do Brasil.
Saw this morning that the wool scarves are back in stock so I grabbed one! Thanks, Dave 🎉 Happy new year, brother

You can also adjust the color/temperature on the flash-1 light. It has a switch on the light itself
also it looks like the lights would work with usb extension cables this means you could make a relay that would fit in line to create a strobe/sos/morse signalling with the light panel...
Looks like a lot of thought went into development. Some pretty good gear.
Absolutely fantastic Dave. I got your four books for Christmas and took it out into the mountains for theee days I love your work!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family and your staff! This portable rechargeable power system looks to be very useful.
Thanks Dave for all you do and happy new year to you and your family
I find this cool. You're usually pretty low-tech but it's interesting to hear your insights on this
Neat product. Might fork over$200 and get the bundle! Thanks Dave!
Happy new year Dave all the best for you and your family in 24 thanks for the great content you provide mate.
Nice little system, thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year, Dave. Have fun with the grandkids!
Thank you so much for going through all of this man this setup rocks indeed can't wait to get one myself!
Very nice system. A bit pricey but what quality product isn't. My mother had a small, framed cross stitch saying, "Things of Quality Have No Fear Of Time."
Happy New Year Dave and Thank You for all the great content!
wow, just when I thought I had everything I need, a new item for my wish list.
I like the solar panels and the brick, the lights looks a little fiddley with several little pieces. Now to look at the price point.
Happy New Year Dave to you and family. I always enjoy your video.
God bless you and yours Dave. Happy New Year 🎉
Looks like a great setup for filming or a hunting camp. I can tell your excited about it. Let us know how it holds up in extreme cold/heat.
Thank Very much good friend.
Happy New year you and your family.
Thank só much.
Mário Tadeu from south Brazil...
Goal Zero also makes these kits, but they are much more expensive. I like this unit cost better! Plus, it has better functionality. Nice job Dave!
Happy New Year Dave!
🎉🎉🎉🎉Happy Holidays Dave and better half!❤
Happy New Year David! Thanks for all your great videos and great work. They really teach me something every time.
Happy New Year my friend. Will definitely have to check this out.
Happy New Years Dave! Loving the videos!
Good stuff. Thanks for the review. Happy New Year for you and your family.
Great video with just the right amount of clear explanation of the battery pack. Also, where can one pick up the compass zipper-pull on your sweater?
Happy New Year to you as well.
Got a few of those, they are quite nice. They’ve yellow in colour as well.
That thing is awesome!!! Definitely going to have to get!
We like it mate. Will get a couple for our outdoors bag. Cheers from Australia.
I have the pecron 3000 , solor its awesome all those are great too have.
My understanding is that you can charge the battery while also using the battery to charge up your electronic devices. Pass thru charging. That is a very handy feature.
I appreciate that they stuck to USB power connection instead of something else. Curious what battery tech it is for cold wx performance.

I bought the 15,000 battery and the lamp last month. I really like it. Im getting ready to add the solar panel.
Pretty neat, thanks.
Happy New Year

Can you fit the flat light attachment in the solar panel storage area??
Dave I know this comment is probably going to get drowned out in all the rest, however I would like to thank you for continuing supply of options for people to use in survival situations. Your education has been a blessing to many people for many years..

I'm always amazed every year they make the charging cords shorter than the last

This is definitely on the radar….
Thanks for the Information.
That is a nice little outfit.
Very nice. Another great vid.
Very good video máster
🙏🙏🙏

Time will tell I’m an Anker man as well
Think you could hang it on your ruck, and charge on the March, so to speak?
I saw these on amazon a few weeks ago, was really interested but jfc it's not cheap....
happy new year !!!!!!!!!
Man that thing needs to be a faraday cage too. I would run buy it then lol
I'm always filming videos in the bush so I was looking for power storage options, that's concenient 😅
Thought you recommended Jaqueri (sp?) previously?
Helpful video !
If you reattach the collar to the light after you remove it from the battery you have less of a chance of losing the collar.
6/22/24 any additional thoughts before I buy one ????
Does the batteries offer pass thru charging?
Yes
I have been waiting on an actual expert review of this product for months now!
Pretty neat
Will it run your icom 705
Dave,
Hope you do a follow up on this system, it looks great, ty for all you do.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
i brought a blue something when it was around same price and it sucked looks like i should waited for this one.
Not available on Amazon US, not sold in the UK.
Absolutely available in the US on Amazon although some items are sold out there is a link in the description box
I like it.
can we buy it direct from company and avoid amazon???
I'm not impressed with the separate collar for the light accessories... A small piece that would easily go missing.
It'd be better if it were a cannon plug-style collar that remains on the main lamp piece... Plug in and screw down.
Does anyone know where Dave got the compass attached to his jacket?
Instructions say you can also use the USB-C as an output charger port.
Thanks for the review. Really like the Ruggedized battery. How tough do you feel the panels are? Would hate to loose the light adapter collar.
Happy new year!
Just to clarify, it is designed in Japan, and made in China.
i'm going on a trip abroad, does anyone know if i can carry this on my carry on bag w/ a power bank at the airport?
Update?
That charging cable is awful short. Other than that, it seems like a decent item, with a decent price.
Happy New Year Dave. Thank you for so many great, informative videos.
Designed in Japan, manufactured in China.
Sure, they look great but they should have incorporated a divot for a bow drill. And does it take Glock mags? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 All kidding aside looks like some rugged outdoor power.
USB C PD? For outputs?
I am pretty sure you only mention USB
Stated the wrong capacity for both batteries. 10,000 & 15,000 not 1,000 & 1,500.
Yes I did mis speak on that for sure
Love ya bud
