  • Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho says the Metropolitan Police "got it wrong" after an antisemitism campaigner was called "openly Jewish" by an officer and threatened with arrest for trying to cross a pro-Palestinian march in London.
She also "completely" rejects the suggestion that the government has abandoned hope of getting to net zero by 2050.

SUELLA AND THIS ENERGY SECRETARY CANNOT PROVE ANY SINGLE OFFENSIVE SWAIR LANGUAGE OR ANY SINGLE PHYSICAL ABUSE DONE FORM THIS 'MET OFFICER', IN ORDER TO MERIT HIM BEING VICTIMISED TO THE LOSS OF HIS JOB. IF THEY CANNOT PROVIDE ANY PROOF TO BACK UP THEIR STATEMENTS, THEN IT IS NOT THE OFFICER WHO SHOULD LOOSE HIS JOB, BUT THEM INSTEAD.

If he did get hurt for walking in the police would have been blamed. And the reason he is at risk of being hurt isnt because he is jewish (there are hundreds of Jews at that protest every week) It would be because he's a zionist, sees nothing wrong with what Isreal is doing and has been doing for 75 years, War crimes in all. I doubt he would have been hurt for the record but I do think the police man was trying to keep the peace as a precaution, though I dont agree with what the officer actually did and said I equally think he was but in an awkward position by this trouble maker on purpose.
