They definitely need to do this but i wonder if instead of a full episode they will just add moments in seversl episodes so they don't show it all at once. But victor flashbacks is one of the answers i most want this season

For the scene where Tabitha is saying not to turn around she’s panicking that the monsters will intercept them in the woods further from town, remember when they drive the loop a large portion of it is wooded, if they are in town they have a better chance of reaching shelter before the monsters get to them
The “Merry -go-round “, thing is a yarn winder. The black square box looks like a “Viewfinder” popular toy in the 40’s -60’s. You pot in a round disc that has 3 d photos and it brings them to life. Most of historical sites-vacation spots Disneyland etc. You could purchase many different discs with many subject matters.
When Boyd said "right now" I believe he was thinking, "what are they doing then? another ambush?". Then the ambulance cones and he realizes he needs to save the people before the monsters get them.
If you have read the Goosebumps books you know about Slappy the evil living dummy who strangely resembles the talking dummy Christopher was talking to. Slappy can also control yup you guessed it monsters, ghouls, spirits, giant spiders just like the books he can make nightmares come alive and become real. What If the show was really set in the Goosebumps universe and the dummy is behind it. Think about it in season one I remember someone mentioned how the forest makes nightmares come alive and that is exactly what Goosebumps is about. Who are slappys best accomplices? Children. I think Victor is actually the key. He may have been manipulated by the dummy after Christopher or he could still be in control. Remember when Sara got a message from the forces that told her to "kill the boy" what if the boy isn't Ethan or the boy in white. The boy is actually Victor because he is still a child essentially just aged up from being stuck in the town. Victor is the key everything revolves around him, his sister Eloise, his mom, his father who just happened to wind up in an ambulance that was going to encounter the tree. The dummy is behind everything or whatever was possessing it. It wanted Victor to do something horrible as a kid. He got scared, disobeyed and hid the dummy went crazy. The dummy wants him dead. The monsters screech like the dummy because they are being controlled by it. It also showed itself in the tower with Boyd, it appeared to Jade. Victor saw it underneath the town in the monsters lair and he went batshit crazy like he was scared of it like he knew what it really was. The dummy is the real evil behind everything. I theorized that the baby Fatma is carrying is a ghoul or something trying to birth itself in physical form. In the Goosebumps books Slappy or whatever the entity inside him was only desired one thing to become real and turn the people into controlled puppets. The monsters don't eat, they have no blood, no emotions, they dont run and have atrophied organs because they are essentially that just puppets being controlled by someone like animatronics. The town isn't real. It's artificial like a playset with no power cables, telephone lines don't connect to anything and animals come from nowhere its all manufactured or created by something that controls everything and it just could be the dummy they kept showing us since season one. It all makes sense

Everyone has complained about the lack of communication, but I believe it's very realistic. Imagine you're trapped in a town with complete strangers and that town is Fromville. A highly stressful place that makes people prone to psychotic breaks. How do you know you're hallucinating because of the location and not because your mind is slipping. It seemed odd but everyone understands why Fatima isn't talking about her condition. The kicker is, she didn't know it would get that bad just like everyone else thought it was just something that happens here. Basically you'd never tell total strangers you're hallucinating scary things, especially when you're on edge about mental health already due to the circumstances. Same for the 3 that got trapped by cicadads. They aren't sure how bad their situation is, they don't even know if it's getting worse or better. That's information that could get you kicked out of town.

Ooh, love the fact this is over an hour long, appreciate your hard work! I'm also really intrigued by your observations about the town being like an amusement park. Colony house has always reminded me of a haunted house ride, The Brundles kind of looks like a water ride with the inflatable rings, and then alright, this is a bit of stretch but, the merry-go-round seems like a carousel? There's also the fact everyone arrives by a vehicle, like a car on a rollercoaster track, going around in loops.... In a previous video, I think you mentioned the monsters possibly being animatronics? This got me thinking of a ride that used to terrify me as a child - It's a Small World. I remember those animatronic dolls in various different roles and costumes... and that creepy song sang over and over by children - the first verse is interesting: It's a world of laughter A world of tears It's a world of hopes And a world of fears There's so much that we share That it's time we're aware It's a small world after all Feel like it might possibly be a reference? But also feel like a crazy person, this show really has that effect on people...
One thing lve noticed is Tabitha said "if l get out of the car, what are you going to do? Am I going to wake up in the hospital? Or back in that place?!" a few episodes back. While she never managed to fully leave the vehicle, she was being sent to the hospital...and ended back in Fromville.

I think Victor does give us new information when he is telling Sara that he wants to build a fort in the basement. Victor tells Sara that the basement is for secrets and the bedroom is for stories, because Victor has a distinction about what is said in what rooms means that someone has made him promise to secrecy in a basement before just like he has told stories with his sister in the bedroom before. We see Victor walking in on Jasper talking on his own to Christopher in what looks like a basement. I think Christopher and Jasper made Victor swear to secrecy about Jasper being able to talk and how much Fromville had changed Christopher shortly before the whole town got murdered, and that's why Victor says that the basement is for secrets.

But there are some inconsistencies in the show: monsters know everything but can't find people hiding in the bushes (it's like they have briefings just before coming out of the caves, but don't have connection with each other during the night), or maybe it's just the rules of the game?
@@kriild i think the entity that controls them like marionettes can only see where superficially, but not bellow. Maybe thats why he made a tent and thats why they can hide in the bushes. The entity might be able to hear them everywhere but the basement. The only inconsistency with this theorh is that i do think the negative entity controlled jasoer that marionette and it influenced Christopher, which potentially were in a basement..... so i wonder if it was in a basement or where.🤔
The thudding in the forest reminds me of Season 1 when the tent got blown away. Theres something bigger out there in the forest, and its crazy how these questions from earlier are still getting remember, and hopefully answered. I think the writers won't go down the 'lost' route, and they actually have a direction, which makes me even more excited!!!
21:40 - The entire purpose of the creatures, unless they are actually killing, is to produce fear like a crop. This is evident in that they walk, they don’t run; and they smile and taunt constantly. The Waitress creature approaches with the key, this is a trade. Boyd called out in the woods after defeating the Dancer creature from the music box, “You won’t fuckin’ break me!”, and the night monsters weren’t anywhere around. The telephone calls over lines that don’t exist and the radio contact was a man who knew what the fake Thomas knows. The voices and visions tell people and the boy in white what is going to happen, then it happens. Two cars will arrive, etc. Therefore, the night creatures near the police officer were not going to kill her. They were pushing her to kill Nikki, because that was what was going to happen instead of them killing the police officer. Just like they know when the force that controls fromville is going to bring in two cars. It’s not a question. It’s a result that just hasn’t happened yet. So, time in the pocket universe doesn’t work the same way. The force that controls fromville already knows that if it waits in the barn that Boyd and Tian Chen will bring in the cow. And in that same way, the menace of the night creatures will force the police officer to kill Nikki. And the reason that’s important is because Nikki threatened Fatima. Not physically with violence, and she did apologize; but she openly opposed Fatima in front of others. The force that controls fromville didn’t like this, and so Nikki was eliminated by the police officer. But the police officer was not supposed to or not allowed to be killed by the night creatures. We’ve seen that a powerful creature was the dancer from the music box, with the potential to dream destroy everyone. Jasper is a ventriloquist doll, and likely a very powerful entity possesses it. Using this, it is not too much of a leap to think of the night creatures as marionettes, functioning as many armed force that controls fromville that uses the night creatures. Each night, they come out to “play”. The “play” is orchestrated by the force that controls fromville as he walks Waitress creature upto Randall’s bus first thing in act 1 of the night. So, the creatures do not have freewill as they are puppets. Fromville seems to be like “It”, as it has apparent cycles where it begins and ends a story where everyone dies. From the dates found where the talisman rocks were located (how did Boyd know they would work away from the cave or away from all the rest of the talisman rocks is a question I’d like answered), we can assume that the force that controls fromville has pulled people from all sorts of timelines, including the civil war. Victor was allowed to live. So, either Victor is immune, overlooked on purpose for some reason, innocent, no threat, or Victor is the force the controls fromville. Victor’s mind around the age of puberty when human beings are full of power results in Victor “playing” with people. Now, maybe Victor wants his dad in fromville. So the force the controls fromville causes it to happen. Because it can make sure that it does, it’s play time. The music box, the ventriloquist doll, the marionette puppets on strings at night. And Victor pointed a gun at Randall, now Randall is all fucked up on top of the ambulance. Victor doesn’t like being yelled at, and now Jade is seeing the symbols that end the story for awhile. It’s always summer, because Victor’s always a kid and kid’s always love summer. Victor likes Fatima, and the houses know what everyone does all the time, hear everything; because it is Victor “playing”, so he knows Nikki was mean to Fatima. Perhaps the power that Victor wields is his own dreams, as they playout in a lifelong coma somewhere after the accident where his mother smashed her car into the tree. I guess we’ll see what Henry has to say.
I can understand Jim's anger at (supposedly) Thomas saying that Julie and Ethan are not his children anymore. It can imply that they don't love Jim anymore as their father as they did before. And it can be emotionally devastating for a parent to lose their children's love, especially if it's the parents' faults. It brings feelings of grief and guilt. I am speaking from the point of view of parents, and I am indeed one.
Don't forget Randall tied Donna to a tree a few weeks ago almost causing her death, so he can't be mad at Boyd when he willingly decided to go outside to help. The monsters could kill all of them since there was no talisman in the ambulance.
I'm glad you mentioned the monster's clothing. In addition to inconsistencies with blood splatter, I've wondered how their clothing has survived decades of creeping through woods. The fabric should be in tatters. The bandage on Randall's cheek also reminded me of Miranda's painting back in Maine. The only issue I see is that I don't see an ear piercing on him. And, did you notice in the last episode how Fatima made a disgusted look when she smelled water? She is repelled by anything that life depends on, including the essential one, water.

The monsters seen to have no incentive to kill anymore. They could of literally killed everyone in the ambulance, Randall Boyd Tabitha and Jim included. Igor. Love your reviews. My theory on Fatima not wanting to drink water. From the previous episode when they autopsied a monster, it was completely dehydrated on the inside. If she or the baby are turning, they wouldn’t want any water.

I think, the people will be upset at the minimum with Boyd for leaving Randell and I don't think he will be forgiving, he is not the type.. Also I think it is going to be a controversy with Tabitha, people are going to want to find this tree and take there own chances. Surely it wont work this way and people will probably jump to death, but people are probably going to want to know where this tree is located, she probably wont tell...I think it is going to be some division in the town next week. We are at the half way point of the season already, it's fast. Really I think we are at the half way point of the series, realistically it's probably a 4-5 year plan for the creators .. I would imagine. So at this point it is probably half way and It will be nice to get some answers this year before more new plots are opened going forward
Different from Jim and Boyd, the ambulance took too long to get to the city. This shows that the city controls who enters and when because they weren’t allowed to get inside until the trap was in place. Another point is that the monsters allowed the cop to live and they lured her to the colony house. Also, Fatima was already feeling attracted by the blood from the wound and that is why she asked to be alone with the body. Maybe the place felt that she had bloodthirsty and killed the person to satiate her desire.
It's interesting how it's basically the boy in white vs the town, convinced that the "Thomas" phone calls were just him trying to help. And since he used Tabitha to get Victor's Dad, the town did it's best to sabotage the arrival, so it's magic vs magic and I love it. So many layers
The "things" on the dresser are not a single object, but several organized from front to back - front - a small white stone - behind that, a small rounded rock, behind that - a small jar - from the jar are loosely arranged twigs of various lengths and shapes. If I had to guess, the twigs are being held in place by sand in the jar. No idea what any of it is, but there are 6 of them in a row.
There is an empty clear drinking glass on the right side in front of the last two. The night table has some jars and a pine cone and a serving tray with two handles behind them. Also no idea why.
True but most people drive into this camp and the entrance seems to be the fallen tree road. It's like the minute you see it you're trapped in some parallel dimension bubble cut off from the rest of the world but Tabatha discovered a way out thru the lighthouse.
Another clue we saw was the motel/hotel finally had a name! It was shown during the massacre recap by Victor. It was called Star Magic! In all other episodes the name of the place is missing.
Igor: regarding houses looking alike, (the Sara/Victor scene) in Chicago, we have a "Bungalow Belt". Almost ever house built in the 50s, two windows in triangles on the second floor for the expensive ones, one window for the cheaper one. I think the town is/was a company town. Example. we had a town called Argo because everyone worked for Argo Ham. That's long gone, the town is now called Summit and has another thirty streets attached. If you look at that one street,that is a company town. That taller building with al the windows, near the gas station, I would actually call that rooming house. For single people. I think that whatever company the town was based around is gone, because the turn is in the road. It would be in ruins, but if this were the case, I'd just be curious about the town. A factory likely.
Definitely a Wendigo Baby. "Bringer of Gifts" makes me think of how Vampirism is often referred to as a "gift" by evil vampires, almost like Jasper gave Christopher the monster curse somehow, which led to the massacre. The Thomas voice felt mostly like the town just taunting Jim, like "they're mine now," but maybe it's implying something changed in the family dynamic.
The phone completely reminds me of the Twlight Zone episode, Stopover in a Quiet Town. I am also thinking of the way the monsters seem to always know what the people are up to.

The blindfold and 2 swords are the Two of swords card in Tarot. It's "Look within for guidance". Can also represent denial, limited view or the victim. You can look into the Two of Swords more for it's meaning and what it could be saying for Fatima.

34:51 The only card we see when Tillie is holding the deck is the Justice card. It says Justice at the bottom in what I think is a Forestarms font (see the star in that word?) but the J is a 7, so 7ustice. The 7 is a nod to it being a deck made for the show, a prop. The box front has the two of swords on it and a a blindfold, similar to people blinding themselves for knowledge. There is also a sun and moon similar to the talisman. I tried searching for the deck long and hard since I collect decks but with the nod to the 7 in Justice, being 7ustice…it has to be a cheeky prop made by the showrunners.

(Well, Lost, too) I checked some other shows that are kinda similar, and Yellowjackets is a thriller drama, Wayward Pines - also science fiction, 1988 - mystery science fiction, Dark - science fiction. So, From should definitely have some kind of “scientific” explanation to it in the future

We can see that in one of Victor's drawing there's broken glass on the ground with some blood I think. Maybe it's connected to the story Sarah was telling her brother about the girl with the broken glass in season 1. Also the reincarnation theory makes a lot of sense to me. That the chosen one always returns. Also, the bracelet is a huge clue. Tabitha made it for her husband cause she is a reincarnation of Miranda and Miranda found an identical one in fromville from the chosen one before her. It maybe also connected to the dates written in the lighthouse. I think the date Miranda died and the date Tabitha was born are connected. This theory suggests that these vision are not actually just visions but memories of past lives. They have to remember where they came FROM.
That flashlight could be a connection to Boyd's torch. When he used that torch from the otherworld, he was able to access it again. Also, Victor, Tabby, and Jade all accessed the Underworld (the caves) with a torch, the flashlight. Although I don't think Tabitha needs one since she's is primordial fire. Tabiti is the goddess name. That's why I think she has to light a fire to save the children.
The onion story goes with a lot of mythology and folklore. There was a Greek prince called Cromus. From Crommyon, which is Onion in Ancient Greek. He was a son of Poseidon. That actually make him a demigod, as well. I don't know much else yet. But in Game of Thrones, Ser Davos Seaworth, also known as The Onion Knight, was probably based on the myth. There's a character in Stephen Universe, apparently, that is inspired by the same myth. The name Gerber actually means tanner. I don't know the connection yet, but I bet onion juice could be used for leather preparation. I wonder if that character was a counterpart to Ellis. The story seems to be connected to Odysseus, too, though Poseidon hated him. But he was a captain on a ship.
Jasper and Jade are both precious stone names. Although they are of different color and mineral composition, so no connection here. But that Jade sees Jasper and only two of them have gemstone names can't be a coincidence, imo.

I was thinking about the GPS, and how you were suggesting that it has to be seperate world / universe / timeline, It could very well be that its still a simulation, or that the forest and town are hidden beneath a large box that doesn't allow satellite connection. For all we know, it could be a Maze runner situation, where the whole world is wasted and these humans are being tested for a specific reason. I don't think the show is going in that direction, but its just something to think about.
The monstors were following orders by the bigger entity. The Entity knew that Boyd and the Matthews had to drive away from Randall, so Randall could see that and remember. Then they left him super damaged, but alive. That creates division. So maybe Randall won't talk about the habits and patterns of the creature again. That's why she gave him the keys.
Insane theory using Jim/Tabitha/Victor's dad bracelet: They are the same people. Victor's dad is Jim. Victor's mom is Tabitha. Ethan is Victor. But from like a different timeline or something. I dunno. Kinda dumb and I hope this isnt what they do, but man that bracelet is really fucking hard to make sense of. If it really has the same defect. Unless they are magical items like Taran says and can teleport or something. Definitely something to pay attention to o
It could be Thomas though. I know he died as a baby in the real world, but he died because of a phone call. It might've been the evil force from the town on the other side of that line. Or it might've been one of the tower kids trying to lure Tabitha into town so that she could free them since Miranda failed to do so. That phone call set a chain reaction in motion. 1) Thomas dies 2) Jim and Tabitha can't process the grief and decide to divorce 3) They take the kids on a trip in the RV for one last family vacation together before telling the kids about the divorce 4) On their trip they encounter that tree in the road, which leads them to fromville This whole chunk of events could imply that the evil thing or the tower kids had a connection to the Mathews family (An ancestral connection and litterally a direct phone line to their household in the real world.) I think the town is a place where dimensions clash. Sure, the timeline in Fromville matches the one in the real world for the people who end up there, but the town itself has multiple dimensions in it where time is of little meaning. There are night creatures from the 50s, ghosts, weird apparitions from the civil war, tower kids, illusions, etc. So Thomas is dead in the real world but his ghost might be trapped in that tower in fromville along with the other kids. He died as a baby but his ghost takes an older apparition of a helpful boy in white, around Ethan's age (he visits him and Tabitha quite a lot and he guides them). Before the Mathews family, there was Victor's family. What if Miranda and Henry had a baby son too and he died like Thomas? Could it explain Henry's alcohol abuse and problems with Miranda? She took off with the Eloise and Victor because something/someone was calling to her (tower kids). Miranda saw this coming since the day they dropped acid under that tree and she told Henry about it all these years but he wouldn't believe her. She'd try to make sense of it by drawing what she saw that day (in the basement - which is for the secrets as Victor told Sarah in this episode). Years later, when her baby died as her acid visions predicted, Miranda pissed at Henry for not believing her, took the car and the kids and drove to the tree where her acid visions began. She didn't make it to the tree because there was another one blocking the road. They end up in Fromville and it all goes south. Victor is alone after "his mom dies and everyone dies" as he puts it. But he's not completely alone. The boy in white guides him and keeps him company. It might be the spirit of his dead baby brother appearing as a boy around Victor's age to help him survive the town. It's the same apparition of a boy in white for Ethan and Victor but it's 2 different spirits from 2 different timelines - Thomas and Unknown. Maybe it's not Thomas on the phone with Jim, but he exists in this town one way or another. The foreshadowing in first season gives it away when Ethan says that Thomas is on his own quest. That's my theory sofar.
Just an add-on: Miranda and the kids didn't make it to the tree where it all began so Tabitha and Henry weren't going to make it either - I'm obviously drawing parallels here. The road from Henry's house to that special "original" tree has an intersection with the other dimension where the town exists. That's why both (Tabitha and Henry and Miranda and the kids) couldn't make it to the tree. There might be dimensional intersections like this throughout the states. Roads that might lead to special "original" trees that connect the real world with the place that traps the souls of dead kids/unfortunate deaths. The roads are blocked by the evil force so that no one can reach this place and traps them in this so called town. It's a trap where dimensions bleed into each other.
@@mandolyn He was carrying a sixpack early in the day when Tabitha showed up. Usually it wouldn't mean much, but the writers specifically chose to show him carrying beer. Introducing a character to the audience this way always has a meaning. Plus, his wife Miranda made the bottle tree by their house with various empty, alcoholic bottles. There are other clues as well but that would take even longer to elaborate.

Reincarnation seens like the most on point theory. That also might be what Randall was getting at, that the fate worse than dying is always coming back forever in cycles. Jasper imo gives a hint to whats going on. All the monsters in a way are just puppets, and the main final boss is controlling them like puppets and speaks through them. Feel Fatima is for sure going through a transformation into one of them. Why her idk. And yeah Victors has gotta snap out of it with his freaking Dad there safe and sound, the boy in white used up so much magic to make that happen, dont waste it! And only way i can see a mix of science and magic if its aliens, their tech could be like magic but that imo would be goofy so most likely not
I think Randall saying there are worse things than dying ties back to when we see the three cicada prisoners chained to the wall like Martin. The first thing Martin asked for when Boyd found him was death.
Your point about seeing the infinity symbol everywhere popped into my head when I was re-looking at a picture of some of the toys/cards on the stairs in the lighthouse/tower scene before the boy in white pushes Tabitha out of the window. I've been wracking my brain about the significance of the numbers 4 & 7 and always go back to the fact that there are three cards - a 4 of hearts (red) and an 8 of clubs (black) with a 7 of diamonds or hearts (its red but you cannot see the suit) right underneath it. If you turn an infinity symbol 90 degrees, it's essentially an 8, is it not? In the image you used in your video of the breadbox, are those almost "clubs" on each end of the infinity symbol?! Just like the 8 of clubs on the stairs! Separately, I think Tilly's card deck is bespoke and not one that you would find on the market in real life. I did notice that when she was getting ready to read Fatima's cards and holding the deck to her chest, the card at the bottom of the deck that was visible was the "Justice" card, which is usually card #8 in tarot. I don't have any idea if there is any significance to this other than that, I too, am clearly losing my mind trying to find patterns LOL
They’re Slaugh fae fairies It just makes soooo much sense Explains the crows (better than the Odin thing cause like common) Slaughter fairies are able to turn into crows and teleport people to a pocket dimension that can accessed from anywhere but once youre taken by a slaugh you can’t escape their little pocket world. (Sounds familiar) The stone circle in the middle of town is quite literally a fairy circle. Dark fairies (what slaugh are) Tend to pretend to be human, they enjoy torture and derive pleasure from other peoples suffering. (Sound familiar) They also like to use and collect human items to learn more about them and better deceive them. They use trees to teleport from their world to ours (sounds familiar) There’s a lot a lot more (Look up them up it’s just “from dark fae theory” there’s a Reddit theory that goes deep into the exploration)
When I first looked up dark fairy lore after watching this show I was shocked by how many elements matched up. If it's not all fae then they have to play a significant role for whatever else is controlling Fromville

I’ve been thinking he could be the lonely dragon and I know it sounds crazy but what if Cristopher is actually Henry and jasper was his puppet
Jasper is on the TV screen and is showed behind Eljin like three times as he follows the Kamono girl out of the ktichen, even after he's bumped into and "wakes up", no longer seeing the ghost girl yet Jasper can still be seen on the TV as the man bumps into him.

The black square box looks like a “Viewfinder” popular toy in the 40’s -60’s. You pot in a round disc that has 3 d photos and it brings them to life. Most of historical sites-vacation spots Disneyland etc. You could purchase many different discs with many subject matters.
When Boyd said "right now" I believe he was thinking, "what are they doing then? another ambush?". Then the ambulance cones and he realizes he needs to save the people before the monsters get them.
If you have read the Goosebumps books you know about Slappy the evil living dummy who strangely resembles the talking dummy Christopher was talking to. Slappy can also control yup you guessed it monsters, ghouls, spirits, giant spiders just like the books he can make nightmares come alive and become real. What If the show was really set in the Goosebumps universe and the dummy is behind it. Think about it in season one I remember someone mentioned how the forest makes nightmares come alive and that is exactly what Goosebumps is about. Who are slappys best accomplices? Children. I think Victor is actually the key. He may have been manipulated by the dummy after Christopher or he could still be in control. Remember when Sara got a message from the forces that told her to "kill the boy" what if the boy isn't Ethan or the boy in white. The boy is actually Victor because he is still a child essentially just aged up from being stuck in the town. Victor is the key everything revolves around him, his sister Eloise, his mom, his father who just happened to wind up in an ambulance that was going to encounter the tree. The dummy is behind everything or whatever was possessing it. It wanted Victor to do something horrible as a kid. He got scared, disobeyed and hid the dummy went crazy. The dummy wants him dead. The monsters screech like the dummy because they are being controlled by it. It also showed itself in the tower with Boyd, it appeared to Jade. Victor saw it underneath the town in the monsters lair and he went batshit crazy like he was scared of it like he knew what it really was. The dummy is the real evil behind everything. I theorized that the baby Fatma is carrying is a ghoul or something trying to birth itself in physical form. In the Goosebumps books Slappy or whatever the entity inside him was only desired one thing to become real and turn the people into controlled puppets. The monsters don't eat, they have no blood, no emotions, they dont run and have atrophied organs because they are essentially that just puppets being controlled by someone like animatronics. The town isn't real. It's artificial like a playset with no power cables, telephone lines don't connect to anything and animals come from nowhere its all manufactured or created by something that controls everything and it just could be the dummy they kept showing us since season one. It all makes sense

Everyone has complained about the lack of communication, but I believe it's very realistic. Imagine you're trapped in a town with complete strangers and that town is Fromville. A highly stressful place that makes people prone to psychotic breaks. How do you know you're hallucinating because of the location and not because your mind is slipping. It seemed odd but everyone understands why Fatima isn't talking about her condition. The kicker is, she didn't know it would get that bad just like everyone else thought it was just something that happens here. Basically you'd never tell total strangers you're hallucinating scary things, especially when you're on edge about mental health already due to the circumstances. Same for the 3 that got trapped by cicadads. They aren't sure how bad their situation is, they don't even know if it's getting worse or better. That's information that could get you kicked out of town.

I'm also really intrigued by your observations about the town being like an amusement park. Colony house has always reminded me of a haunted house ride, The Brundles kind of looks like a water ride with the inflatable rings, and then alright, this is a bit of stretch but, the merry-go-round seems like a carousel? There's also the fact everyone arrives by a vehicle, like a car on a rollercoaster track, going around in loops....
In a previous video, I think you mentioned the monsters possibly being animatronics? This got me thinking of a ride that used to terrify me as a child - It's a Small World. I remember those animatronic dolls in various different roles and costumes... and that creepy song sang over and over by children - the first verse is interesting:

One thing lve noticed is Tabitha said "if l get out of the car, what are you going to do? Am I going to wake up in the hospital? Or back in that place?!" a few episodes back. While she never managed to fully leave the vehicle, she was being sent to the hospital...and ended back in Fromville.

I think Victor does give us new information when he is telling Sara that he wants to build a fort in the basement. Victor tells Sara that the basement is for secrets and the bedroom is for stories, because Victor has a distinction about what is said in what rooms means that someone has made him promise to secrecy in a basement before just like he has told stories with his sister in the bedroom before. We see Victor walking in on Jasper talking on his own to Christopher in what looks like a basement. I think Christopher and Jasper made Victor swear to secrecy about Jasper being able to talk and how much Fromville had changed Christopher shortly before the whole town got murdered, and that's why Victor says that the basement is for secrets.
....or maybe the entity cannot hear or see what occurs in the basement.

The thudding in the forest reminds me of Season 1 when the tent got blown away. Theres something bigger out there in the forest, and its crazy how these questions from earlier are still getting remember, and hopefully answered. I think the writers won't go down the 'lost' route, and they actually have a direction, which makes me even more excited!!!
21:40 - The entire purpose of the creatures, unless they are actually killing, is to produce fear like a crop. This is evident in that they walk, they don’t run; and they smile and taunt constantly. The Waitress creature approaches with the key, this is a trade. Boyd called out in the woods after defeating the Dancer creature from the music box, “You won’t fuckin’ break me!”, and the night monsters weren’t anywhere around. The telephone calls over lines that don’t exist and the radio contact was a man who knew what the fake Thomas knows. The voices and visions tell people and the boy in white what is going to happen, then it happens. Two cars will arrive, etc.
Therefore, the night creatures near the police officer were not going to kill her. They were pushing her to kill Nikki, because that was what was going to happen instead of them killing the police officer. Just like they know when the force that controls fromville is going to bring in two cars. It’s not a question. It’s a result that just hasn’t happened yet. So, time in the pocket universe doesn’t work the same way. The force that controls fromville already knows that if it waits in the barn that Boyd and Tian Chen will bring in the cow. And in that same way, the menace of the night creatures will force the police officer to kill Nikki. And the reason that’s important is because Nikki threatened Fatima. Not physically with violence, and she did apologize; but she openly opposed Fatima in front of others. The force that controls fromville didn’t like this, and so Nikki was eliminated by the police officer.
But the police officer was not supposed to or not allowed to be killed by the night creatures.
We’ve seen that a powerful creature was the dancer from the music box, with the potential to dream destroy everyone. Jasper is a ventriloquist doll, and likely a very powerful entity possesses it. Using this, it is not too much of a leap to think of the night creatures as marionettes, functioning as many armed force that controls fromville that uses the night creatures. Each night, they come out to “play”. The “play” is orchestrated by the force that controls fromville as he walks Waitress creature upto Randall’s bus first thing in act 1 of the night. So, the creatures do not have freewill as they are puppets.
Fromville seems to be like “It”, as it has apparent cycles where it begins and ends a story where everyone dies. From the dates found where the talisman rocks were located (how did Boyd know they would work away from the cave or away from all the rest of the talisman rocks is a question I’d like answered), we can assume that the force that controls fromville has pulled people from all sorts of timelines, including the civil war.
Victor was allowed to live.
So, either Victor is immune, overlooked on purpose for some reason, innocent, no threat, or Victor is the force the controls fromville. Victor’s mind around the age of puberty when human beings are full of power results in Victor “playing” with people. Now, maybe Victor wants his dad in fromville. So the force the controls fromville causes it to happen. Because it can make sure that it does, it’s play time. The music box, the ventriloquist doll, the marionette puppets on strings at night. And Victor pointed a gun at Randall, now Randall is all fucked up on top of the ambulance. Victor doesn’t like being yelled at, and now Jade is seeing the symbols that end the story for awhile. It’s always summer, because Victor’s always a kid and kid’s always love summer. Victor likes Fatima, and the houses know what everyone does all the time, hear everything; because it is Victor “playing”, so he knows Nikki was mean to Fatima. Perhaps the power that Victor wields is his own dreams, as they playout in a lifelong coma somewhere after the accident where his mother smashed her car into the tree. I guess we’ll see what Henry has to say.
I can understand Jim's anger at (supposedly) Thomas saying that Julie and Ethan are not his children anymore. It can imply that they don't love Jim anymore as their father as they did before. And it can be emotionally devastating for a parent to lose their children's love, especially if it's the parents' faults. It brings feelings of grief and guilt.
I am speaking from the point of view of parents, and I am indeed one.

Don't forget Randall tied Donna to a tree a few weeks ago almost causing her death, so he can't be mad at Boyd when he willingly decided to go outside to help. The monsters could kill all of them since there was no talisman in the ambulance.
I'm glad you mentioned the monster's clothing. In addition to inconsistencies with blood splatter, I've wondered how their clothing has survived decades of creeping through woods. The fabric should be in tatters.
The bandage on Randall's cheek also reminded me of Miranda's painting back in Maine. The only issue I see is that I don't see an ear piercing on him.
And, did you notice in the last episode how Fatima made a disgusted look when she smelled water? She is repelled by anything that life depends on, including the essential one, water.

I used AI to ask if FROM was an acronym for an escape room what would the letters represent, it was a long answer but basically FEAR - Players confront their fears, RESCUE - Players are tasked with/ saving people, OBSTACLES- there’s puzzles & challenges testing wit & teamwork, MYSTERY- there’s a plot twist Players must unravel during their quest. Re: the phone call from "Thomas" - it's now 100% clear it's not Thomas because the minute Jim took the phone he said "hi, JIM" ... there's no way his dead infant son would be able to speak anyway but if he theoretically could, why would he call him Jim and not dad?

The monsters seen to have no incentive to kill anymore. They could of literally killed everyone in the ambulance, Randall Boyd Tabitha and Jim included. I understand why they couldn't kill Randall but the others, no clue.

My theory on Fatima not wanting to drink water.
From the previous episode when they autopsied a monster, it was completely dehydrated on the inside. If she or the baby are turning, they wouldn’t want any water.

I think, the people will be upset at the minimum with Boyd for leaving Randell and I don't think he will be forgiving, he is not the type.. Also I think it is going to be a controversy with Tabitha, people are going to want to find this tree and take there own chances. Surely it wont work this way and people will probably jump to death, but people are probably going to want to know where this tree is located, she probably wont tell...I think it is going to be some division in the town next week. We are at the half way point of the season already, it's fast. Really I think we are at the half way point of the series, realistically it's probably a 4-5 year plan for the creators .. I would imagine. So at this point it is probably half way and It will be nice to get some answers this year before more new plots are opened going forward

Different from Jim and Boyd, the ambulance took too long to get to the city. This shows that the city controls who enters and when because they weren’t allowed to get inside until the trap was in place.
Another point is that the monsters allowed the cop to live and they lured her to the colony house.
Also, Fatima was already feeling attracted by the blood from the wound and that is why she asked to be alone with the body. Maybe the place felt that she had bloodthirsty and killed the person to satiate her desire.

It's interesting how it's basically the boy in white vs the town, convinced that the "Thomas" phone calls were just him trying to help. And since he used Tabitha to get Victor's Dad, the town did it's best to sabotage the arrival, so it's magic vs magic and I love it. So many layers

The puppet dummy talking to Christopher is very similar to Boyd talking to the ghost of the priest.
The "things" on the dresser are not a single object, but several organized from front to back - front - a small white stone - behind that, a small rounded rock, behind that - a small jar - from the jar are loosely arranged twigs of various lengths and shapes. If I had to guess, the twigs are being held in place by sand in the jar. No idea what any of it is, but there are 6 of them in a row.
There is an empty clear drinking glass on the right side in front of the last two. The night table has some jars and a pine cone and a serving tray with two handles behind them. Also no idea why.
I do not believe a car is a requirement to be captured in Fromville. People were trapped before cars existed
There are some big wagon wheels in the cabin area, so people in horse drawn carriages were getting trapped there back in the day.
True but most people drive into this camp and the entrance seems to be the fallen tree road. It's like the minute you see it you're trapped in some parallel dimension bubble cut off from the rest of the world but Tabatha discovered a way out thru the lighthouse.

Another clue we saw was the motel/hotel finally had a name! It was shown during the massacre recap by Victor. It was called Star Magic! In all other episodes the name of the place is missing.
In a previous episode showing young Victor, we were shown that Star Magic sign.
Igor: regarding houses looking alike, (the Sara/Victor scene) in Chicago, we have a "Bungalow Belt". Almost ever house built in the 50s, two windows in triangles on the second floor for the expensive ones, one window for the cheaper one. I think the town is/was a company town. Example. we had a town called Argo because everyone worked for Argo Ham. That's long gone, the town is now called Summit and has another thirty streets attached. If you look at that one street,that is a company town. That taller building with al the windows, near the gas station, I would actually call that rooming house. For single people. I think that whatever company the town was based around is gone, because the turn is in the road. It would be in ruins, but if this were the case, I'd just be curious about the town. A factory likely.

Definitely a Wendigo Baby. "Bringer of Gifts" makes me think of how Vampirism is often referred to as a "gift" by evil vampires, almost like Jasper gave Christopher the monster curse somehow, which led to the massacre. The Thomas voice felt mostly like the town just taunting Jim, like "they're mine now," but maybe it's implying something changed in the family dynamic.
The phone completely reminds me of the Twlight Zone episode, Stopover in a Quiet Town. I am also thinking of the way the monsters seem to always know what the people are up to.

34:51 The only card we see when Tillie is holding the deck is the Justice card. It says Justice at the bottom in what I think is a Forestarms font (see the star in that word?) but the J is a 7, so 7ustice. The 7 is a nod to it being a deck made for the show, a prop. The box front has the two of swords on it and a a blindfold, similar to people blinding themselves for knowledge. There is also a sun and moon similar to the talisman. I tried searching for the deck long and hard since I collect decks but with the nod to the 7 in Justice, being 7ustice…it has to be a cheeky prop made by the showrunners.

This is the stupidity of that judgment.
We can see that in one of Victor's drawing there's broken glass on the ground with some blood I think. Maybe it's connected to the story Sarah was telling her brother about the girl with the broken glass in season 1. Also the reincarnation theory makes a lot of sense to me. That the chosen one always returns. Also, the bracelet is a huge clue. Tabitha made it for her husband cause she is a reincarnation of Miranda and Miranda found an identical one in fromville from the chosen one before her. It maybe also connected to the dates written in the lighthouse. I think the date Miranda died and the date Tabitha was born are connected. This theory suggests that these vision are not actually just visions but memories of past lives. They have to remember where they came FROM.
That flashlight could be a connection to Boyd's torch. When he used that torch from the otherworld, he was able to access it again. Also, Victor, Tabby, and Jade all accessed the Underworld (the caves) with a torch, the flashlight. Although I don't think Tabitha needs one since she's is primordial fire. Tabiti is the goddess name. That's why I think she has to light a fire to save the children.

The onion story goes with a lot of mythology and folklore. There was a Greek prince called Cromus. From Crommyon, which is Onion in Ancient Greek. He was a son of Poseidon. That actually make him a demigod, as well. I don't know much else yet. But in Game of Thrones, Ser Davos Seaworth, also known as The Onion Knight, was probably based on the myth. There's a character in Stephen Universe, apparently, that is inspired by the same myth. The name Gerber actually means tanner. I don't know the connection yet, but I bet onion juice could be used for leather preparation. I wonder if that character was a counterpart to Ellis. The story seems to be connected to Odysseus, too, though Poseidon hated him. But he was a captain on a ship.
Jasper and Jade are both precious stone names. Although they are of different color and mineral composition, so no connection here. But that Jade sees Jasper and only two of them have gemstone names can't be a coincidence, imo.

I was thinking about the GPS, and how you were suggesting that it has to be seperate world / universe / timeline, It could very well be that its still a simulation, or that the forest and town are hidden beneath a large box that doesn't allow satellite connection. For all we know, it could be a Maze runner situation, where the whole world is wasted and these humans are being tested for a specific reason. I don't think the show is going in that direction, but its just something to think about.
The monstors were following orders by the bigger entity. The Entity knew that Boyd and the Matthews had to drive away from Randall, so Randall could see that and remember. Then they left him super damaged, but alive. That creates division. So maybe Randall won't talk about the habits and patterns of the creature again. That's why she gave him the keys.
Insane theory using Jim/Tabitha/Victor's dad bracelet:
They are the same people.
Victor's dad is Jim. Victor's mom is Tabitha. Ethan is Victor.
But from like a different timeline or something.

It could be Thomas though.
I know he died as a baby in the real world, but he died because of a phone call. It might've been the evil force from the town on the other side of that line.
Or it might've been one of the tower kids trying to lure Tabitha into town so that she could free them since Miranda failed to do so.
That phone call set a chain reaction in motion.
1) Thomas dies
2) Jim and Tabitha can't process the grief and decide to divorce
3) They take the kids on a trip in the RV for one last family vacation together before telling the kids about the divorce
4) On their trip they encounter that tree in the road, which leads them to fromville
This whole chunk of events could imply that the evil thing or the tower kids had a connection to the Mathews family (An ancestral connection and litterally a direct phone line to their household in the real world.)
I think the town is a place where dimensions clash.
Sure, the timeline in Fromville matches the one in the real world for the people who end up there, but the town itself has multiple dimensions in it where time is of little meaning. There are night creatures from the 50s, ghosts, weird apparitions from the civil war, tower kids, illusions, etc.
So Thomas is dead in the real world but his ghost might be trapped in that tower in fromville along with the other kids. He died as a baby but his ghost takes an older apparition of a helpful boy in white, around Ethan's age (he visits him and Tabitha quite a lot and he guides them).
Before the Mathews family, there was Victor's family.
What if Miranda and Henry had a baby son too and he died like Thomas?
Could it explain Henry's alcohol abuse and problems with Miranda?
She took off with the Eloise and Victor because something/someone was calling to her (tower kids).
Miranda saw this coming since the day they dropped acid under that tree and she told Henry about it all these years but he wouldn't believe her.
She'd try to make sense of it by drawing what she saw that day (in the basement - which is for the secrets as Victor told Sarah in this episode).
Years later, when her baby died as her acid visions predicted, Miranda pissed at Henry for not believing her, took the car and the kids and drove to the tree where her acid visions began.
She didn't make it to the tree because there was another one blocking the road.
They end up in Fromville and it all goes south.
Victor is alone after "his mom dies and everyone dies" as he puts it. But he's not completely alone.
The boy in white guides him and keeps him company. It might be the spirit of his dead baby brother appearing as a boy around Victor's age to help him survive the town.
It's the same apparition of a boy in white for Ethan and Victor but it's 2 different spirits from 2 different timelines - Thomas and Unknown.
Maybe it's not Thomas on the phone with Jim, but he exists in this town one way or another.
The foreshadowing in first season gives it away when Ethan says that Thomas is on his own quest.
That's my theory sofar.
Just an add-on:
Miranda and the kids didn't make it to the tree where it all began so Tabitha and Henry weren't going to make it either - I'm obviously drawing parallels here.
The road from Henry's house to that special "original" tree has an intersection with the other dimension where the town exists. That's why both (Tabitha and Henry and Miranda and the kids) couldn't make it to the tree.
There might be dimensional intersections like this throughout the states. Roads that might lead to special "original" trees that connect the real world with the place that traps the souls of dead kids/unfortunate deaths.
The roads are blocked by the evil force so that no one can reach this place and traps them in this so called town. It's a trap where dimensions bleed into each other.

Usually it wouldn't mean much, but the writers specifically chose to show him carrying beer.
Introducing a character to the audience this way always has a meaning.
Plus, his wife Miranda made the bottle tree by their house with various empty, alcoholic bottles.
There are other clues as well but that would take even longer to elaborate.

Reincarnation seens like the most on point theory. That also might be what Randall was getting at, that the fate worse than dying is always coming back forever in cycles.
Jasper imo gives a hint to whats going on. All the monsters in a way are just puppets, and the main final boss is controlling them like puppets and speaks through them.

I think Randall saying there are worse things than dying ties back to when we see the three cicada prisoners chained to the wall like Martin. The first thing Martin asked for when Boyd found him was death.
Your point about seeing the infinity symbol everywhere popped into my head when I was re-looking at a picture of some of the toys/cards on the stairs in the lighthouse/tower scene before the boy in white pushes Tabitha out of the window. I've been wracking my brain about the significance of the numbers 4 & 7 and always go back to the fact that there are three cards - a 4 of hearts (red) and an 8 of clubs (black) with a 7 of diamonds or hearts (its red but you cannot see the suit) right underneath it. If you turn an infinity symbol 90 degrees, it's essentially an 8, is it not? In the image you used in your video of the breadbox, are those almost "clubs" on each end of the infinity symbol?! Just like the 8 of clubs on the stairs!
Separately, I think Tilly's card deck is bespoke and not one that you would find on the market in real life. I did notice that when she was getting ready to read Fatima's cards and holding the deck to her chest, the card at the bottom of the deck that was visible was the "Justice" card, which is usually card #8 in tarot.
I don't have any idea if there is any significance to this other than that, I too, am clearly losing my mind trying to find patterns LOL

They also like to use and collect human items to learn more about them and better deceive them.

When I first looked up dark fairy lore after watching this show I was shocked by how many elements matched up. If it's not all fae then they have to play a significant role for whatever else is controlling Fromville
Ethan mentions faeries too in one of his stories in the very first episode
In season one Ethan tells the story about the lonely dragon collecting things that were considered trash to most but treasure to him and he ended up helping the cromenackle find their way home by giving her a map. In Henry’s house there’s a wood piece that says spitfire. I’ve been thinking he could be the lonely dragon and I know it sounds crazy but what if Cristopher is actually Henry and jasper was his puppet
