This wallet surprised me...I have made lots of different wallet styles before but this one has become my absolute favourite of all time...both to make and to use. I've modified a few things...I tend to use 2 of the 8 card slot pieces rather than the id slot...and i usually make the exterior into a 2 tone by joining 2 different vinyls butterfly the seamand topstitch....then laying it on patternpiece and cutting it out Comes out great and you can match your handbag better. Also I never put the male snap side on the lower exterior..it needs to be on the flap. I alter its position so the flap side snap has enough roomfor the double stitch row too!
Anyway I'm so very glad you did this one...I adore it...take care Lindy ps love your new pup too x

Kassiah you did it again! Watching your tutorials is dangerous for me and my current wallet! What a lovely wallet pattern and fabric. You find the most lovely vinyl designs!. And finally, a wallet that is not really thick. For the sticky needle, you can use Sewer's Aid rather than oil. I believe Sewer's Aid is a type of silicone. And for domestic machines, Schmetz makes a non-strick needle. And, thank you for another great tutorial. I look forward to them...my wallet, well, not so much! 😂 Continued success to you!

Great Tutorial . however when it came to sewing on the larger card slots you said to sew the bottom line at 1/8" which I did but later noticed the pattern said its a 1/4" so my credit cards kinda disappear in the slots lol this was my test wallet and my credit cards slots were also a bit too tall but I made that work with the snap. Other than that it was so easy to put together and I will give it another try and learn from my mistakes and I really have to improve my accuracy in cutting out my pattern pieces lol

I love this wallet but mine came out unusable once I loaded it up with my cards, cash and coins. The snap no longer matched. I’m making another but with some modifications. My top slots also were too far up. On her tutorial picture hers is even lower than the slit. My top card pockets were also too deep and I had difficulty getting them out. But what really bugs me is the 8 x 7.x slip pocket. She doesn’t say which way to turn it when putting on the slots and neither did you. I used the smaller side because the slots fit best. Now I’m on the ID portion and again I’m asking myself which way to put the slots, sigh. On the first wallet I never checked to see which way I used it for the ID portion, so now I’m wondering. Sometimes when an error occurs it’s hard to know if it’s the user or the maker that went wrong. This time on the top slots, I sewed about a half inch from the bottoms so my cards would sit up higher and be easier to get out. But I’ve noticed the ncw slots are also a little deep. Usually, Jess and Lauren always check the pockets with cards, don’t remember if you do but you didn’t with this tutorial unless it was off camera. Another issue is she says draw a line four inches in to separate the slot sections. But if using the 7.x side this isn’t the middle. I’ve asked her about which way to put the slots but she didn’t answer. Maybe you can figure this out and tell me? I’m not knocking the pattern at all and the directions are the best I’ve seen, except for this one area. I loved mine, I used the same vinyl you did but had ordered mine specifically for a wallet. I put another snap on it but the original still shows of course. In this second wallet I’ve moved the snap about an inch which I did measure with my wallet loaded so it should be fine. Thanks for your hard work doing these tutorials.
