Nice 👍 I must say. Thanks for this. My question, at the back, were you went in by 3 inches does it work for every body size? Then another thing the back and front measurement was confusing, because you said you subtracted 1 inch from your hip measurement and for the knee you subtracted same 1 inch from the hip to get the knee then for tue back you did a different thing.
Yes it works for every size, for the back, why it feels like i did a different thing is because you have to replace the 1inch you took from the front so it fits
Good morning, For this, I used the full measurement and the band added a bit of length for me, but you can also subtract your band measurement before cutting
Hello so when you said you will use your body measurements to shape before you sew and that you would divide it by 2 i don't understand that can you explain to me what that means
It means that you’ll divide your waist, hip circumference by 2, not 4 anymore since it’s no longer on fold, to get your actual fit, i hope you get it now
You mean the slant i made on the front with 1inch, right? There’s definitely no need for that at the back, the reason for the slant in front is to get rid of excessive bulging
Thanks alot for this tutorial sis❤️God bless you…Please i want to ask if we can use dis method to sew a mermaid skirt, and from which point are we going to draft d mermaid tail? Is it from the knee length or from the 6inches allowance u measured downward from hip point on d back bodice? Will appreciate your response mama❤️

Pls what I don’t get is that, is the normal slanted 1inch waist to hip back not needed again.
I’m sorry I don’t get what your question is, can you make it more understandable so i can give you an answer?
@@stylebytaih I mean you is not go in on the back waist by 1inch
You mean the slant i made on the front with 1inch, right?
There’s definitely no need for that at the back, the reason for the slant in front is to get rid of excessive bulging

Thank you, I appreciate your support as well, I usually like to go up by 2” from the knee length, it gives it a more nicer fitting
