Allah calls out to all of His Prophets by their names. But Allah shows so much respect for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that He never calls the Prophet by his name.

This is probably the best advice given by Prof. Khan. I couldn’t agree more. We argue on the purity of the words and the sunnah of THE Rasool of Allah. Sometimes even resorting to raising our voices, as far as lying to pride ourselves. It is unacceptable. Take a moment to ponder over this. May Allah guide us all!

  • @alamsadia

I am a bit confused about this one actually. We are living in a time, when people have habit of quoting Hadiths/saying of Prophet (PBUH) and the stories, without giving proper references. It is common to see many postings on Facebook- and they are spread carelessly. Don't you think, as a Muslim, you or I have responsibility to correct those? Ofcourse, after doing a proper study. I mean some of posts are so blatantly wrong that if you don't correct them, it can mislead Muslims. So, obviously, after some research on the authenticity, shouldn't you correct it? Just to give you an example, sometimes my mother in law reads something on Facebook, some Hadith, or hears it from someone and then she may end up believing it even if it is not correct. Isn't it my responsibility to present her with correct ruling/saying/Hadith on the matter, after investigating?

    • @8118ghazi
      @8118ghazi 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Go ahead and correct them brother if you have that knowledge this way is a real respect to our Prophet peace be upon him, Do not keep silent if you have the certain truth and reveal it in a good manner and intention. God bless you .

People who have a knowledge for sure they must argue to defend Prophet Traditions and correct the mistakens and wrongdoers and teach them. Not all kind of arguments are bad and some of them must be done to reveal the truth.

Sallam, as I understood. You can quote hadith to your friend, family whoever. But thing is you shouldn't battle with hadiths. As brother Nouman said alto he studied hatidh that brother mention to him in masjid he just accepted it. Because hatidh is for us to learn and apply not to feed our egos and show I know more than you.

Salam. Would a kind soul explain this to me? I'm painfully confused. If the prophet (saw) was the most humble and kind human being, wouldn't he understand that the Bedouins were not very learned people? It doesn't seem rational that he would get angry with them and Allah would erase their good deeds. They were ignorant. I honestly think this ayah applies to a very different context than the one the Ustadh uses. Because if the context is correct, it seems (forgive me, forgive me) a bit pretentious and unforgiving. May Allah forgive me if I have transgressed. I'm just seeking answers. Many thanks to whomever can explain this.

You cannot judge the past by today's customs and traditions. For example, the founding fathers of the US are regarded to be some of the greatest men who have existed in United States History. But they owned slaves. Although slavery is illegal today, does that make the founding fathers horrible people for participating in an institution in the past that is illegal in the present. I encourage you to actually read and learn more about the Prophet Muhammad instead of listening to everything you hear online. You will find that he was truly a magnificent person.

The Quran says slavery is OK.So does the Bible. Do you ignore the Quran verses about slavery or are those verses still good to follow?
" encourage you to actually read and learn more about the Prophet Muhammad instead of listening to everything you hear online. "
And let me guess, only the things I read about him that say he was a good person are true, the other writings are wrong.
Also, there is no reason to believe he was a prophet.

@@cnault3244 firstly, If you actually read the Qur'an, you'd see that it encourages the emancipation of slaves and that freeing slaves is better. Nowhere does it explicitly legitimize the institution of slavery.
Secondly, the above argument put forth by Kazuto has NOTHING to do with the legitimacy of slavery. It has to do with judging the past based on the present's rules and regulations. If you were to do that, then the founding fathers of the US would be dubbed racist and disgusting because they owned slaves. Why don't we call them those things? Things were different back in the 1800s. Just like how things were different back in 600s - 700s AD.

You cannot respect a child molester and murderer . Look at you trying to please a God that hates you and demands you work to become holy. Jesus is the only one that died for your sins your good works amount to filthy rags in gods sight. God the father will only accept you when you accept his sons payment for your sins. Then sees you in Jesus perfect righteousness. Listen to you trying to earn your gods love. My god died for me he loves me and garintees me heaven simply because u received what Jesus did for you. I feel sorry for you having to try to earn your gods love no personal relationship with the true God of love .my god loves me and forgives me and knows every hair on my head he loves me talking to him and singing his praises because he has given me the gift of eternal life. I have no feAr when I stAnd before him because I have been given Jesus righteousness the only son if God who never sinned and became the sacrifice in my place to pay for my sins in his own blood.

David Mays - The only child molester is your dead-naked god's father, who was 90 years old and fucked up the 12 years old girl. As well ass the only murderer is your own dead-naked god who commanded of killing everything that breath, just check your filthy bible and know the truth of your sick pagan cult.

Your sins can never ever be greater then Allahs infinite mercy and kindness.keep asking for Allahs forgiveness and have a firm intention that you wont do it again and Allah will forgive you. and if for some reason you do it again then repeat, seek repentance again in which you ask for forgiveness sincerely and have firm intention that you wont do it again.

Just to add to what Shereef said, hopefully at the time you argued, you didn't realise the seriousness of raising your voice / arguing. So because you weren't aware, you will not be held accountable for this action. However now that you ARE aware of the consequences, do your best to avoid arguing.
If by chance you do, then you should do 4 things:
      1. confess to Allah that you are AWARE of what you have done
      2. confess to Allah that you are ASHAMED of doing it
      3. ask Allah for forgiveness, and finally
      4. tell Allah that you will strive to not commit that sin again.
Hope that helped and may Allah grant us a successful and blessed Ramadan, Ameen!
