This looks great, had a play with a pistol crossbow at my mates but forgot which make and model I used but it does look a lot like this! Think I'll have one.
At 95fps with the standard aluminium bolts it should be able to put down smaller game like birds from blunt force impact alone, however I would recommend you invest in an airgun or actual firearm if you are serious about hunting wild animals. In addition you might want to check up on your local laws when it comes to the legality of crossbow hunting in your area.
This can take much larger animals like turkey or smaller pigs with broadheads. The cobra model bow limb which is weaker has taken pigs up to like say 90 lbs plus out to 10 yards. Its on TH-cam but I wouldn't try it as it may not humane. 50 lbs or less is better with a cobra model. Conversely With the right weighted bolt and tip inside of say 15 yards you can easily take game up to say 70 lbs with the alligator limbs.
Did you wax the bowstring and the flight groove before shooting? Most of the frayings Ive seen online are from people who didnt wax their strings enough.
This is the best review I've seen on this crossbow. Very good 👍

the back cocking handle can be modified in to a stock.
The mantis is almost as powerful as the redback from everything I've heard.
Get yourself a Sears and Roebuck and Bob's your uncle...lol
Really struggled stringing this crossbow.
@Chad Bridges Did you get good bolts for it.
That's because it has a heavier draw weight than the cobra models.
Is this better than the cyclone or op 360 ?
Yes
Are these effective against wild animals?
