Ulka Pump EP5 fault finding in Quickmill and other Espresso machines

- Here I show how to fault find a problem with ULKA EP5 water pump used in many espresso machines. This one is my Quickmill Espresso 3050 machine that has no pressure or water flow thru the portafilter.

my quick mill machine start to show burned smoke , the pump working but no water going out.
Tough one that without more info. I'd check Power to the pump. Check pipe is not blocked from the water tank. If theres smoke it could be your pcb board. Check the power to the pump first. You can do it 👍
@@YoucandoitwithJules thank you for your video, it’s very helpful , I was able to dismantle the pump and ordered new one from the link you provided , I guess the pump was already old and need to be replace.
@@shahabadolf3227 yes good start. You save yourself a fortune doing this yourself as the bills I see for fixing coffee machines makes a car look cheap. You can do it 👍
@@YoucandoitwithJules thanks a lot for your tips, so I received the ulka pump today and had it replaced , it was not the main problem, I notice the burnt smoke traces was actually coming from the solenoid 3 way valve the brand name is parker n79.6bv.t 0+5 bar AC
