i've heard this album before buuuuut for some reason i didn't realize that this song is outstanding... like listen on repeat for a few hours outstanding.
The other night a man tried to take advantage of me. In my confusion I went along with it and hung out with him. No one was there to help me get out of the situation. No one would answer their calls. So I continued to spend time with this man. He wanted me to dance and I didn’t want to be there. I told him I like to sing I don’t like to dance. I am very shy when it comes to singing. But when I do sing it means that I’m trying to build my confidence. And singing can build my confidence. So I played this song and I sang it. Even though I was feeling uncomfortable I sang it out with all my heart while he was dancing with me. And this gave me the courage to walk out of his house and leave. We are worth so much more
I didn't have that, but I did have a mother and it felt like hell. I also had a father that, feels exactly like heaven. I learned that everyone can betray me, but I'll still have a family that cares enough to never put me in those situations.

Tuesday May 22nd can't get here fast enough. The reason I say this is because Lacey sturm The Return: reflections on loving God back new book comes out then. I'm very excited & hyped up + cannot wait. I know Lacey sturm new book it's going to be totally Rockin Big Time Bad to the Bone just like her other two books are. I am just wondering how many books is she going to do. Also I cannot wait until Lacey Sturm comes out with a new cd + new music videos as well. Lacey is definitely one unique lady. I love female leads in bands; my favorite being Amy Lee with Lacey being a very close second. And yet if I had a choice to choose one to meet, I would probably choose Lacey. There's just something about her that I love. I'd be nice if she joined Flyleaf again. That's good man. I'm glad Lacey's music has helped you. Believe me when I say that life hasn't been kind to me either and there are many days I think about leaving too. But Lacey's music has been a godsend during those times. I think that's why I'm drawn to Lacey more. Her backstory is very much like mine and knowing she survived the hell she went through gives me hope. If you haven't already, you should check out a book she wrote a few years ago called The Reason. It goes in depth about her life back then and how she escaped her own hell. It gave me a new appreciation for her that I didn't have before. I hope you continue to find hope in Lacey's music.
I followed Flyleaf as a youngin and always thought they were awesome, when she left it sucked because I was begin to fully understand the value of GOOD vocals on rock, metal and hip hop tracks. Lacey has an amazing voice and while its not always both ends of the spectrum I liked, the clean and screaming vocals on Flyleaf, its still her unique voice.
A woman i love dearly who goes by the streamer name Brooklynbones needs to hear this song. She thinks in her mind that shes not worth loving. Even know i ve told her time an time again she is worth it. Either way she is the love of my heart i hope God touches her heart just like hes changed me in a good way. She means that much to me that i wanna see her be truly happy an safe in the arms of the lord. Sorry sounds kinda corny but ive been hoping for years she will see that.
