    I love the inside of this house. The outside not that impressed. But that can be a good thing. So over all I’m impressed. Those stairs going up to the game room is a plus for me.

    I love how informative and detailed all your videos are! Do you have a favorite builder of all the new home communities you've seen? I love all the new build homes but see a decent amount of negative reviews even though the building companies are large and distinguished. Any thoughts on how to select the right builder?

      @WhereToLiveInAustin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Rachel Hong, that's a really good question. If we're talking about production builders, the person overseeing that neighborhood (superintendent ) is going to have a lot more to do with the quality of the home than the corporation or the builder brand. All builders, at a given price point, use the same materials and sometimes the same tradesmen. The person overseeing that neighborhood makes all the difference. While some builders do a better job than others hiring superintendents, if they want to scale, there are bound to make a bad hire here or there. In other words, you probably going to see some bad reviews on most builders. With all that being said, there are a couple big builders I'd think twice about. I'm not going to name them in the comment section, but feel free to email me and I'll give you more info. ray@shapleyrealty.com

    Lol small world, I work in the film industry and in February I worked on a show that shot for about 3 weeks in this house. I feel like the houses across the street are way better than this house and the empty lots next door will keep construction going for a while. Might get annoying, thanks for the good content

    Hello, we live in California and are looking to move to the Austin area, possibly dripping Springs or Fredericksburg. We will be visiting the area sometime in August or September and we’re looking for a real estate agent.

      That’s great to hear, there are different pros and cons for Dripping vs Fredericksburg. If you want to discuss areas etc, I’d be happy to connect and share my thoughts. Just book a call here when you’re ready to chat. th-cam.com/users/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqa3RkVlNmZE4zeW9xanItX0pDQjliWXktZEJnQXxBQ3Jtc0tsZEpoeU9wQzg3OWtwQnFkTEFscFU0WGstQVZpRjE1cXBxVVFYSkxqQkVGeTRXdVRRSzdGU1AybUJQVDhNQUplVFhQQjgwa2RjTGpKMEN6ZURzNlhkcUtXQ3JJV0JpMlJxUFlUaUhfNS1DYUNsOTByVQ&q=https%3A%2F%2Ftinyurl.com%2Fy8pa79zg&v=fHbLvIcENOU

    I love that jack n Jill because the sinks are in separate rooms and the doors in the entire home sound solid not hallow and cheap . I wish that court yard in the master bath had a fire place already built in even though it can be done later . Great house all around nice restrooms . Also wish it came with finished garage floors instead of just concrete you’d think for the price it be standard .

    You know what $1.15 million gets in the Bay Area? A 3 bedroom, 1 bath, and a half acre of land. That's why I will be moving out to Texas very soon and I can't wait.

    I love this house. I don’t want to be THAT person (the one that says they entertain but don’t) but I’m the person that hosts the birthday party’s, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and I host meetings/dinners for my business here sometimes. I’m also the person that has the people from out of town stay at my house. ANYWAY, the no formal dining is definitely a deal breaker. Then I was thinking, change the office into a dining room and put the office in that upstairs room but that’s were all the little kids would go during these get togethers. I’d have a TV in there gaming consoles a couch, pool table, foosball table, etc. And then obviously I couldn’t make a bedroom into a office because I have a lot of people stay over. Is there a house with a similar floor plan just with a formal dining room?

  • @larrystranger4268

    For over a million, I would expect at least 30 feet between myself and the neighbor. Especially for as much open land there is in Texas. Build this home outside of the gates of the community and it’s $750k max

    I loved this house!!, BUT!!🙄 the outside look is weird like a bunch of ideas were mixed!, The kitchen is a dream!!, The second ambient upstairs I don't nee it!!💯👍🏽, The master is ok I don't like that is too much doors connecting w/ the backyard 🤷🏽‍♀️, the bathroom is awesome but I would replace the cabinet between his/hers sinks because it seems crowded!!💯 Instead I can put a longer mirror with lights on!!

    i am seeing microwaves put below countertops on some houses you show us. i thought it was too high when it was put above the stove and now I think it's too low. put it back where it belongs. on countertops!

    • @WhereToLiveInAustin
      @WhereToLiveInAustin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I say Saratoga Hills is better. Lower taxes, 1.5 acre lots, better topography / views, closer to Austin.

      Dripping Springs is growing fast and starting to get pricy, but there's still some good lots / acre + properties. I'm a big fan of dripping Springs.

    Nothing impressive about the outside of home. Ship lack and barn doors are so out. Same look as my home I currently have without Ship lack and barn doors, all the same details and I know prices vary from states but for over a million this is a common house period way overpriced.
