@GLID Gaming that middle room is call a short room typically 1 to 2 guys will do a strong wall set up and clear it while simultaneously calling short room or if there is dead space and the less time u sped in the fatal funnel in the doorway the better because you are a sitting duck in the doorway
This was so clean - the coms, the movement, the positioning, EVERYTHING. Being able to see this also from your pov and your mates head was a really nice touch!

I cannot lie to you, the killing house clearing was so spotless, I like the commanding and call out coms. The fact you Continue to navigate through situations this highly coordinated just impresses me how well it implements the positive and realistic outcome in a game. When playing games that are CQ, usually you can run in blazing and get the job done after dying a good 30 tries or so. When you play with a proper team with the correct initial training, when put into a game it out plays sweats - Which is why "campers" in alot of games are hated. Because the reality within an tight or open field isn't you bolting it 24/7 with your rifle. You have to have resilience and patience and man did you fucking show it. Well done Glid, great to have you make us brits look spotless not only on the battlefield, but in game. And the same goes for the Americans. Love always for the fellas.
It was clean at times, but spotless is a bold statement. 9:55 they completely ignore the uncleared open space (which should be prioritized over closed doors in most scenarios). Doors make noise when opened, thus giving you time to react. An open space leaves you with a possible nasty surprise, especially if no one's covering it. 7:25 makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable. 1 guy is standing in front of a door and they're all lined up to be mowed down by a barricaded shooter. He acknowledges the limited space, yet the whole team moves into that small space (11:20 is definitely an improvement, but still far from ideal). There were some game related issues that made some of it look scrappy, but that's not on them. I also don't often see the person who opens the door, go in first. As that person is already busy working the door, your 2nd man (opposite side) should already be ready to move in. I don't mean to bash on these people, as they definitely did a better job than most players. But I found the word 'spotless' just not quite fit. Hope you can understand :) EDIT: At 10:15 they choose to open both doors simultaneously, but there's no cross coverage on the left side door (from the perspective of the one up top). Meaning that the guy (Ludi) who's stacked on the left side of the right door, has no one covering his back/side when that door behind him is popped open. I'm not saying that cross coverage was mandatory here, but if you're going to sync your clearing, then make sure everyone's in a safe stack before opening the door(s). Popping both doors simultaneously is already kind of strange to start off with. You're creating a lot of angles for enemies to shoot you. If this was a dynamic entry, it would be an entirely different story. But the limited entry makes it so your guys' backs (who are stacked on the opposite door) are target practice for enemies when you open doors. There were multiple occasions where someone's back was facing an uncleared sector. At 12:17 the guy literally has his back towards the door that is being opened, death wish.
The "punishment" for an ND at the range was hilarious 😂 I was cracking up at that part. I liked seeing the kill-house training in this vid, great stuff. Always improving!
Very nicely done. All of you. This is the way Ground Branch is meant to be played. - It may be cold comfort at this point, but you're not alone in your weapon functionality headaches. My friends and I routinely have the same problem you guys had in that we either cannot reload, or cannot use the sights. It's a frustratingly common glitch. The only cure that we've found is for the session host to slay and revive the affected player. FYSA. - We haven't quite made it to the "Veteran" difficulty yet (we're still struggling with 'Experienced'), but whenever we play "Tanker", someone ALWAYS has to hold the stairs while the others sweep each deck because it turns into Ground Branch's version of Rourke's Drift (I have some pretty comical screenshots lol). I hope Blackfoot Studios includes some kind of AI randomizer in future updates. It kills a bit of the fun if you know where the enemy is hiding each time, more or less. - I'm sure it's already occurred to you, but it would be really great to see you collaborate with another GB content creator like Controlled Pairs in the near future, since you both seem to share a passion for games like this one. Anyway, another 5 out of 5 from me. Can hardly wait to see what you come up with in the forthcoming 1032 update. Regards

There was never frantic Comms brother it's all controlled by experienced guys. The problem with it being a game is you have to over communicate because you have no feeling or peripheral vision like we have in real life. Us playing extremely hard tactical shooters with team kill on etc ensures the boys have to say what they would normally just see and act on. I am happy you enjoyed the content. Ps If you ever heard real life fire fight personal radio chatter between fire team sections closing in on a enemy compound you will know what frantic sounds like. Love your input and opinion thx for watching..

Great job clearing the ship, man! This map kinda reminds me of classic Rainbow Six game. What a nightmarish map, especially with the comm clutter make me (a civilian) confused and disoriented a bit. Every room must be scanned otherwise the tango will pop out and make a mess 😁 Once again, awesome job
This is a whole other level of in game roleplay. This is how I felt playing old military sim games like SOCOM, Ghost Recon and Fire Spectrum Warrior back in the early 2000's. Also when you introduced Sykes at the start I couldn't help but imagine the original Modern Warfare CQB test scene, Sykes walks in an everyone else is like "It's the FNG sir".

I need to get this game. It looks sick, and you can play it solo while still having a lot of fun. Edit: That room clearing in the kill house looked sooooo good. Very cool. Also, the fact that this game takes into account height over bore (i.e., shooting the windowsill when you were aiming at the guy below you) is awesome. I’ve never seen that in a video game before.

Epic timing, taking one of my squad, the other main mil sim guy, through the kill house in GB later this weekend, developing/refining our buddy doctrine and testing for/integrating the limitations of the gameplay V IRL for team specific doctrine. Awesome video, I love the view from above as you watch them train. Not sure how I feel about popping two opposing doors at the same time like at 10:18. Ludi is completely exposed by a potential enemy in the left room, and Psychs is unable to cover him.
Before US Navy subs, was Marine 2533 radio-telegraph operator, 2 and a little bit in Nam H&S 1/3 and 2/7; radioman for company CO'sXO's and platoon leaders. Very little down range participation except when needed - primary job was communications for stireps, med evacs, air strikes, arty calls. Will never forget working with my Brother Marines. Semper Fi and GO NAVY
This map reminds me of the ferry boat map in Rainbow Six: Raven Shield/Athena Sword. Gawd, that map was a pain. I ended up bringing 48 smoke grenades and thermal goggles. Of course, the A.I. teammates didn't help much, either.
you must get your hands on 'ready or not'. your zero hour and ground branch videos are very immersive. with ready or not's great sound design it will be epic
Genuine question so please excuse my naivety- would there ever be a situation where you would have to result to picking up and using an enemies weapon if you had a gun failure IRL as you suggested in this video around 27:30? Or would that only be in seriously dire events / last resort? Alternatively is this something which is realistically reserved for the movies and games? Really enjoyed this video as usual man!
You would 100% pick up a enemy weapon if you have a catastrophic weapon failure that you can't remedy by releasing magazine and releasing stuck round in chamber. If you absolutely need to have a bigger caliber weapon other than your secondary yes you would pick up an enemy weapon that is lying on the floor.
I'm excited for when the bots react to voice chat. I hope most people use in-game chat instead of 3rd-party apps. I really hope the localization, reverb, and occlusion are good enough that voice chat sounds as if the avatars are actually speaking in the level.

Before US Navy subs, was Marine 2533 radio-telegraph operator, 2 and a little bit in Nam H&S 1/3 and 2/7; radioman for company CO'sXO's and platoon leaders. Very little down range participation except when needed - primary job was communications for stireps, med evacs, air strikes, arty calls. Will never forget working with my Brother Marines.

This map reminds me of the ferry boat map in Rainbow Six: Raven Shield/Athena Sword. Gawd, that map was a pain. I ended up bringing 48 smoke grenades and thermal goggles. Of course, the A.I. teammates didn't help much, either.

Genuine question so please excuse my naivety- would there ever be a situation where you would have to result to picking up and using an enemies weapon if you had a gun failure IRL as you suggested in this video around 27:30? Or would that only be in seriously dire events / last resort? Alternatively is this something which is realistically reserved for the movies and games? Really enjoyed this video as usual man!
You would 100% pick up a enemy weapon if you have a catastrophic weapon failure that you can't remedy by releasing magazine and releasing stuck round in chamber. If you absolutely need to have a bigger caliber weapon other than your secondary yes you would pick up an enemy weapon that is lying on the floor.

I'm excited for when the bots react to voice chat. I hope most people use in-game chat instead of 3rd-party apps. I really hope the localization, reverb, and occlusion are good enough that voice chat sounds as if the avatars are actually speaking in the level.
