Someone commented about my pronunciation of d'Iberville, but the comment disappeared before I could reply...
The town of D'Iberville north of Biloxi is locally pronounced "dee-EYE-ber-vill". The pronunciation of city and street names is dictated by how the majority of the locals pronounce it.
Likewise, Iberville Street in New Orleans is locally pronounced "EYE-ber-vill". (I could write a book of seemingly mispronounced street names in New Orleans, not to mention the difference in the pronunciation of Orleans between "New Orleans" and "Orleans Parish" or "Orleans Avenue".)
When referring to Pierre LeMoyne Sieur d'Iberville, the closest correct Americanized pronunciation of the French name is "dee-IBB-er-vill", so that's what I went with.

I'm not aware of any at-grade railroad crossings anywhere on US-90 between Lafayette, Louisiana and the Florida State line.
