There’s going to be a season 8 CW pack. A lot of the LSW3 characters will most likely return as well. They might be styled on the new LEGO clones and not the ones from 2008, but I believe they will be there since there is like 700 confirmed characters

Commander Cody could be a playable character in Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga as Cody does appear in Star Wars episode III Revenge of the Sith when Obi Wan fights General Grevious.
Rex also, he appears in Attack of the clones in battle of geonosis

They confirmed multiple packs based on CW season 8, Bad Batch and the Mandalorian, and others. There’s also 700+ characters in the game, so we should see most of the well known people, I think the packs might be alt appearances.

I always consider the clone wars to be a part of the skywalker saga as well it focuses primarily on anakin and has some of the most in depth world/ character building in Star Wars

I love how they're incorporating lego sets and dlcs into this game, it makes it feel like something even bigger than it already is. Seeing the kaminoans as playable characters would be hilarious. We could also see Calculator Kestis!

Cody and the 212th Attack Batalion were in Revenge of the Sith, so I feel pretty confident we'll see Cody and a few trooper variations in the game. The 501st were also fairly prominent so I think a 501st trooper will be playable too. I'm not too confident about the others since they mostly made small/cameo appearances (I don't think Bly, Neyo, Oddball, etc will make it in... but maybe Gree and his forces?)
I hope they still keep the Gunk droid 😂

Usually with these Lego games one of my favorite things is seeing all of the Lego designs of characters we don’t get an actual mini figure of
I would definitely love to see a lot of characters from the clone wars too many to list of here
but definitely some of the more obscure clones like the 327th star coor
and a whole lot more
Also of course a lot of random background characters Jedi separatists etc. from that era
I would definitely also love to see all of the separatist leaders like Knute gunray wat tambur and all the others from episode 2 3 and the clone wars
From the rebels imperial era I would love to see the inquisitors although that’s probably unfortunately not gonna happen
I would also love to see a lot of different trooper variance like the ones intraduced in the Mandalorian
It would also be extremely cool to have some of the book/Comic book characters
I would also be super excited to see some of the background characters like the imperial officers
and of course Grand admiral Thrawn
I think there’s going to be bonus levels that have some more characters from different shows or movies

The ghost is actually one of the ships on loading screens when you select levels and your loading in… so there is a good chance we see some rebels characters at some point. I saw it yesterday

I think they’ll have Clone Wars, Bad Batch (those two maybe even together?), Rebels (this one less likely sadly), Solo, Rogue One, Mandalorian, Solo and Book of Boba Fett, and probably more for some other shows
I feel there should be some extra levels other than the main story that are clone wars levels and rebels levels. It's unlikely but I wish they could do that

We know Rex And Hera were in the Battle of Endor, so there is a decent chance we'll see them (at least) in the Endor Hub or in the mission.
Afterall, Rex and 2 others sharing his design (Wolfe and what would've been Gregor) were part of the Prologue Mission, required for a mini-kit.
The only dlc that has been confirmed are character packs. We will probably get level packs based on clone wars and rebels

I think that in the game won't be any characters from other (non Lego) Star wars games like Cal Kestis and Iden Versio, but this game will most likely have a customiser, so I think that some of these characters you can make in the actual customiser
I'd really love to see Force unleashed and republic comando characters in Skywalker saga, but I'm not sur if they will be in.
Same kinda goes for visions, but I need to see the show first, and then decide if I want it in skywalker saga.

Imagine if this game got a live service which went in deep into the future, with each dlc pack being free but you had to do completely certain challenges to unlock the characters n shit- not only that but they could listen to the community’s feedback too regarding what new planets to add post launch
I would love to see Echo with the little handprint on his clone armor. I still like star wars rebles to this day, so if the main characters some how got added in the game that would make me happy.

Why do I get the growing feeling that Star Wars fans seem to be spoiled little brats and it will never be enough? New Star Wars Game coming, it's Lego, loads of characters, 9 movies worth of content and the SW channels all go "boohoo, not enough". Grow up, be excited.
I believe we’re excited, but if they’re including Yaddle of all characters, they should include characters like Ahsoka, Rex, and at least a few Jedi Council members. I’m fine if there’s no Resistance or Rebels content, I’m fine if there’s no stuff from future shows. Just let them include more important characters than that one droid Finn stared at.

I could see a character pack of Sabine, Ezra, Thrawn, Grand Inquisitor, and Kenobi series Obi Wan in a DLC pack later this year as a part of the Ahsoka and Kenobi series
I think it would be cool to go into areas like Dexter's Diner or the cantina and find characters like Rex and Ahsoka.
All those bounty hunters will definitely make the cut because they were all in Star Wars episode 5 empire strikes back
I think they would’ve have commander Cody mainly because he’s in episode 3, so I think he would be a character. But who knows. I would personally want a character pack based of the old Star Wars games, with characters like Galland/lord StarKiller, delta squad, maybe some old republic characters, unlikely rogue squadron characters
Lego Star Was: The Force Awakens has things called carbonite bricks. You find these in the open world areas and you unlock iconic characters from the prequels and the original trilogy. I think they are going to make this type of thing again in the Skywalker Saga but this time having Clone Wars characters and different looks for Obi-Wan and Anakin, etc.

As unlikely as it is, I’m holding out for KotOR characters, at least the bare minimum with Revan, Bastilla and some others like Canderous and the sith triumvirate (Sion, Nihilus, Treya). Then, maybe some MMO characters like Malgus, Satelle and the troopers from that era?

My theory is that if we have the characters from the new and upcoming Star Wars shows it would have to be dlc’s after the initial release. That is if TT games wants to continue working on there game that far out. This legion game has been worked on for a very long time, it’s also been delayed many times. If they haven’t put some of the other content like, the rogue one sequel or the clone wars tv show content it probably won’t be in there in release. That would make the game get delayed and bigger than it already is. This is a huge lego game hence why it’s been delayed so much. I doubt they would want to make it bigger at release.
Like you said, probably not doing a lot of clone wars content but I would love to see general Krell.
Honestly I have three comments that may just be me but here it goes:
1. I didn’t know the book of boba fett was a show until now
2. I didn’t know that Star Wars resistance even existed
3. I actually really enjoyed rebels and even though the clone wars is much better I would still like to see a rebels dlc even more than a bad batch one

I think many of the Jedi in the prequels are going to be in the game. (We literally see Mace on Coruscant in the gameplay trailer) and we're going to see Cody in the game as well since he was in ROTS. I'm hoping for more clone legions like the 501st, 212th, 41st Elite Corps/Ranger Platoon/Scout Battalion, Coruscant Guard, and 21st Nova Corps (Galactic Marines)
i hope they have a selection for animals like (bruh i forgot the animal name's from star wars) just like they did for jurassic world u could turn into dino's and make your own hybrids well they can leave out hybrid making but i rlly wanna turn into some animals like dubags and bantha's

I hope there is a feature where we do get some retro and side characters like Han in Carbonite, Ahsoka, Hondo and Clone wars obi-wan like the carbonite characters feature in Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens and maybe like Indiana Jones as a reference to his appearance in the complete saga or maybe like a reference to one of their competitors that Lego also has a liscense for like Batman or maybe an iron man character.
Starkiller appears under the name "Vader's Apprentice", as an unlockable character in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. It'd be cool to see him again...
