The sportbike segment in Bangladesh was quite saturated over the last few years. People would only talk about the Yamaha R15 V3, the Suzuki GSX-R, the Honda CBR 150R, or the Lifan KPR.
However, recently companies such as Aprilia and Keeway have also entered the game with the Aprilia GPR 150, and the Keeway RKR 165.
Here we will be dissecting and explaining the Aprilia GPR 150. Aprilia GPR 150 is a 150cc sportbike by the European company Aprilia. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer. Initially, Aprilia started by making boring two wheelers such as bicycles, scooters, and mopeds. Then finally they started making higher capacity motorcycles.
Nowadays bikes such as the Aprilia RSV4, and the Tuono V4 are making noises in town. But here in Bangladesh, those bikes are merely dreams. Due to the cubic capacity limitations (cc limit), we only get bikes below or equal to 165cc. Hence, we get the Aprilia GPR 150 only. Aprilia does business in Bangladesh through Runner Automobiles Limited.
The Aprilia GPR 150 is a complete sportbike. The Aprilia GPR 150 gets a fully-faired chassis. The bike looks huge, just like a Grand Prix motorcycle. The bike comes with really premium decals, and the 54-title badge, which indicates the 54 titles won by the Aprilia Teams.
The decals of the bike are easily one of the most beautiful factors of the bike. The bike has a huge headlight unit with a very minimalistic and unique tail section.
The Aprilia GPR 150 has a very disappointing light setup. The head section has two halogen bulbs, which are in no way expected from a bike of this price segment.
The Aprilia GPR 150 comes in three colors internationally. Which are:
1) Red.
2) Black.
3) White.
All three bikes come with similar decals.
Physical Attributes:
The Aprilia GPR 150 is expected to have a shorter than average seat height, which meets the standards of most sportbikes. This ensures a comfortable ride. But a short bike also means a low bike. The ground clearance of this bike is a mere 150 mm.
The length, width, and weight of the Aprilia GPR 150 are 1950mm, 770mm, and 140kg respectively. The weight of the bike and the aerodynamic design allows the bike to stay grounded and stable. The bike has an average wheelbase of around 1345mm, which will allow the bike to stay stable at
corners and will also allow riders to lean confidently at the corners.
Engine and Transmission:
The Aprilia GPR 150 comes with an EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) engine. This means it has an internal ECU (Electronic Control Unit) that controls the exact amount of fuel the engine needs. This system leads to better fuel efficiency. The bike comes with a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 149.2cc, and is liquid-cooled.
The engine produces 18BHP of power at 9750rpm, and 14Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The power and torque of the bike are quite suitable for a sportbike, which allows it to easily accelerate and gain top speed. The bike is expected to have a fuel economy of around 35kmpl on average.
The Aprilia GPR 150 comes with dual disc brakes. The front being 300 mm, which also comes with a radial caliper, which is a big thing for bikes in Bangladesh.
This huge disc up front pretty much ensures safe and early stops during emergency braking situations. The rear brake comes with a 218mm disc. The bike sadly does not come with either ABS or CBS, and that is a total bummer.
The Aprilia GPR 150 has Upside down (USD) telescopic forks in the front and a mono-shock in the back. While the front forks will be a problem on bumpy roads, it will be very helpful while leaning on the corners. The rear mono-shock is expected to perform well.
The wheels of the bike are quite average. The front wheel of the bike has a 100/80 section tire, which is quite good for this bike and will allow it to have good grips.
The rear wheel gets a 130/70 section tire, which is a bit saddening as a 140/70 section tire would have done it more justice. The tires will hold up well on the road.

1) Lifan KPR 150 V2.
2) Suzuki Gixxer SF 2020.
3) Taro GP 1.

আসসালামু ওয়ালাইকুম ভাই। Suzuki gixxer থেকে Suzuki gixxer sf বানানো একটা গাড়ির রিভিউ করবেন যে Suzuki gixxer sf বানানোর পর কী কী অসুবিধা হচ্ছে বা বডি কিট গুলো সমস্যা হচ্ছে কী না বা গাড়ির পারফরম্যান্স কমে যাচ্ছে কী না। এই সব বিষয় নিয়ে একটা ভিডিও করলে খুব ভালো হতো। অনেকে যারা sf বানাতে চাই তারাও উপকৃত হতো।
