Lord Shen "Red Scenes" Colour Corrected

A handful of Lord Shen's more red-tinted scenes with colour correction to make them look more neutral and natural.
Someone on the Lord Shen Appreciation Society said that they disliked the blood red filter that is over a lot of Lord Shen's scenes, and I agreed with him. He also shared some basic colour grading screenshots, which I was very much impressed with and inspired by.
Kung Fu Panda 2 of course belongs to Dreamworks. I only own the colour correction.

What would’ve been cool is if it started that way, but then as the movie progressed and the conflict escalated, it would get redder and redder.

Yeah and then gold light would grow symbolising Po and it reaches peak at the sunrise in final battle

As a color direction and narrarive. This is a bad choice. It's cool at the start, but you are right. No movie should use too much these "color corrections"

There's still plenty of red, but also room for more neutral hues.

The red makes the scenes far more harrowing and menacing ngl. But it is cool to see the comparisons.

I think the reason they went with red was probably because Shen has the most blood in his wings. Red kinda symbolizes anger, rage, hatred, and aggressive violence.
