Fuck the woke society! How ironic that we have to show such respect in the media, yet in public people still have a way of treating others like shit despite their sex, religion, ethnic origin, etc. Shows like MadTV, Married with Children and others never had to tread lightly so as not to offend; they simply came up with a new script and ran with it. Television can be garbage nowadays.
Discovering MAD TV just a few weeks after discovering In Living Colour, has been like unlocking a huge treasure trove of wonderful comedy gold! This had me laughing so hard, my cheeks were hurting just from the intro alone! 😂 I was losing it right along with you two, this sketch was side splitting stuff! xD
I love how racially insensitive this is....this is when people could take a joke and laugh at stereotypes or just themselves...today...these people are hyper sensitive

I watched MADtv when it first came out, I think it was In Living Color then House of Buggin, then MADtv they all had the same 11pm hour slot on FOX and SNL came on at 11:35pm on NBC. Man really miss the 90's
Damn, another MAD TV hidden gem that I've never seen before. This one seemed to hit all the racial stereotypes and tropes. Artie Lange makes a scary white momma. It was FAF though.
The fact that they got away with that stuff is hilarious. Back in the early 70s. They joked about each other and it wasn't taken seriously. But today.. people can't just enjoy good comedy and look past the message that they only see. It's just good fun

I'm almost out of breath. I miss Mad TV. There used to be a failed Fox show called "The Edge" which starred Jennifer Aniston before Friends, and at the same time she did the first Leprechaun movie.
MAD TV was the best, way funnier then SNL at the time imo! I seen a filming and afterward they come in to the crowd and Debra Wilson came right up to me and busted my chops about not knowing NYC as I said I also live there which I did and she was super cool we talked for 5 minutes or so. They were all amazing at improv as they try things during the sketch tapings.
