I am very proud of what you’ve become, and where you reached in these couple of years. Its really been a great journey, and can’t wait to see what the future beholds.
I've been in NY for 5 years and I will say you probably feel off put by (from what I can tell) staying in midtown during your visit. Those are generally the most accessible hotels so no shade for your choice to stay there, but I think they really give off a bad vibe of NY. I've never felt so small and insignificant and far from home than in midtown lol. Its smart that you tried exploring different neighborhoods. Maybe look into other parts of BK like Clinton Hill or Bedstuy. Those have calmer neighborhood vibes and the price for what yo get rent wise are generally better than Wburg, Greenpoint, Downtown Manhattan etc. Good luck!
ahh thanks for this fun vlog! I find NYC pretty overstimulating too, though parts of Brooklyn are a bit more chill I think. My brother's lived in different spots around there and it was always quite nice!! I also think living there and visiting will be pretty different experiences; you can have some more chill days around the neighbourhood instead of having to go out and experience the city all day. but I think it's probably a tough city to live in, I don't think I could do it (mostly because of the rat race/money mentality and issue haha) and omg is Lauren wearing a Daily Paper jacket??? that's so cool!!! (dutchie here :)) )
@Maria CANCER Hey! Idk if you know but you replied to my comment. Drew won't see this unless he clicks on the replies to my comment. Just making sure you know! I hope you get some better treatment!
I loved the layout, transition, and vibe of this video. One of my favorites. It really fit the era in which the camera was produced. The music selection was top-notch. Whatever decision you make I know that you will continue to achieve great feats. I do ask that you and Lauren stay safe. Out of the blue but at 7:21 I realized that Lauren resemble princess DIana. Much love man. ❤
Hello Drew long time watcher , love the content . I would like to introduce you to a close friend of mine . He is a pioneer in vintage and other hobbies he likes to do , well known all over the world . An interesting person in my opinion .. his shop sorry restaurant is everything you’d like . Vintage , food , coffee .
New York just have that insane vibe to dream for, which you just captured right here. Whats more New York than Rainy streets, jazz, food and a little basketball.
I’ve lived in nyc for many years and I’m from here and I’d recommend staying in Denver 😭😭 just my two cents. I’m biased too because Colorado is soooooo gorgeous. Its so expensive here, competitive as hell, taxes are a nightmare, every time you wanna go out to eat you have to make a reservation weeks in advance, the weather is so horrible, and since the pandemic it just hasn’t been the same. Oh and dont get me started on apt hunting lol. Of course I recommend always trying it out for yourself but having space and not feeling like you’re living on top of 5 million people is a feeling I really really miss That being said, nyc def has the best food, the best kind of people (creatives and weirdos) and it’s a great place to disappear to if you want that. I love that I can take the train 45 mins and be in a completely different world. Also the vintage shopping is just the best on the whole damn planet if you know the spots. Oh and the celebrity run ins always a plus
From my own personal perspective, college is worth it because it sets up opportunities for good jobs which is a luxury than an individual can fall back on if they were to branch out and experience other opportunities that life has to offer.
West village is old money like much of the west side. It use to belong to lgbtqia. Now it's sort of boring. The Christopher st pier is nice during summer. Brooklyn is amazing especially during summer.
I live an hour away from NYC and I really never go there. I wish I could go there every weekend but my friends never want to. It’s crazy because everything you could imagine is somewhere in that city and I want to explore it so bad. I especially want to go to DSM tho
only people who aren’t from New York are concerned with everyone else’s vibe at a park lol you literally just find your own section and make your own vibe. but i definitely could see how that would be off to anyone not from New York
I am very proud of what you’ve become, and where you reached in these couple of years. Its really been a great journey, and can’t wait to see what the future beholds.
Thank you! I’m excited to share the journey with you🤞💫🫶

Loved this vlog, love your calm and positive energy 🫶🏻 also good background music choices , can’t wait to see more nyc stuff!
From my own personal perspective, college is worth it because it sets up opportunities for good jobs which is a luxury than an individual can fall back on if they were to branch out and experience other opportunities that life has to offer.

Your checkered beanies are sick! Where are they from??
@Sundays.xyz on ig
try it for a year!! PS Montreal has the best bagels so don't move to NYC for bagels
I’ve been to Montréal and had st v bagels … not impressed 😂😂
watching the A10 in bk, but not the Big East Tourney in the world's most famous arena?!?!
$100+ tickets vs $10 tickets
I was wondering what beanie you are wearing.
love this vid
only people who aren’t from New York are concerned with everyone else’s vibe at a park lol you literally just find your own section and make your own vibe. but i definitely could see how that would be off to anyone not from New York
Lauren’s hair looks fire
Thanks for the updates… definitely appreciate cameras with stabilization functions lol. So shaky (like a stripper) 😵💫
It definitely makes you appreciate todays tech
Great vid man, can I ask what arcteryx jacket you were wearing? Cheers

No way I had went to that exact game twin 😫😫
Watching kpop dance with mellow jazz background music hits different😂
😂😂
Did you just put your camera on the ground for some of the shots? I'd be way too paranoïd somebody came to pick it and run lol
I did haha and I was paranoid too
Hey man
Where abouts did you stay on this trip?
Damn so you going to be living in Manhattan or gentrify another borough?
I love Harlem but I can’t do the rats🤷🏾♂️ NYC rat problem is crazy!
do itttttt
The storytelling is great, but i feel like you have enough subs to upgrade ur camera because the video quality is not great.
Thank you! I usually use a nicer cam but I wanted to try out a old school style hand cam
19:05 - xg stans!

Every time I visit NYC I appreciate DC so much more. Whole city smells like garbage.
i think drew likes pizza😤
That’s nice but I come here to learn about fashion not your personal life
nobody forced you to click on the video
@@DrewJoiner fair enough, one less viewer for you. Good luck going viral with that attitude
This is NOT the real NYC good luck tho !
