I can’t tell you how helpful this video has been - way better instruction than we received when we bought from a different company (we’re not in your area). And I revisit it every 6 months when I change my water. THANK YOU!
This, finally after watching about 34,544 videos I am finally going in the right direction. Fresh water salt water system. Once a week maintenance and I won't need a water softner as I live on South Florida. Do your diligence and research it!
Hi, just found your chanel. Just had my salt water jacuzzi installed this week..thank you so much. Great information, thank you for sharing. I just subscribed.
Should you get your alkalinity and ph completely balanced prior to adding salt? Or should you go ahead and add salt after refilling. It usually takes me a week to get my alkalinity down and bring my ph back up after draining and refilling my tub. Thank you!
Hi I've had my Hot Spring hot tub since July of this year and we love it. There is on issue though I can't figure out and that is flaking salt deposits on the bottom of the hot tub. The salt levels are perfect and i just changed out my salt element a week ago hoping it would resolve the issue but it hasn't. Have you experienced anything like this with your hot spring?
Hi, my Ph was too high and resulted in a "gritty" surface (aka calcium deposits). I added Ph down and ran several times, then had to drain and clean with a cleaner made to remove calcium. At startup, be sure all your levels are within range.
That would be a little too aggressive cause it will likely removed almost ALL the calcium. Soft water is not good for pools & spas because it makes the water too corrosive which will damage your spa.
Would have been a better video had you used more close ups of the screen. Felt a bit rushed. And close ups of the test strips. Question on the pillow. You said 24 hours then flip it over. Then another 24 hours. Then soon thereafter you said it has to be on 24 hours. That was confusing. I had heard 12 hrs then turn it over.
Just got a hot springs hot tub..and dont have a clue what to do.. I thought this was a step by step vid that actually showed people what to do not just talk about it..first off how do u heat the hot tub using the control panel? U never showed any of that you just blew through and yr camera man needs to do close ups

Would you recommend using aquafinesse or silk balance with this salt system?
I am a fan of the Soft Skin Spa for this product

Please clean your filters! It’s most important to have clean filters! Dirty filters will give you off balanced water tests.
I used the vanishing act and it ruined my $100 filter leaving brown film along the top of the water. Don’t use it!
