Be that as it may, coalition government is precisely what our parliament/constitution was designed for, hence the country will run at its optimal in the long run with coalition government likely at all levels given the diversity of our demographics’ values, principles and visions for the future, it’s the best way to represent the most people in this nation rather than this rule by minority we’ve seen for the past 10-15 years. They’re not perfect, yes they are messy, but the reality is that the politicians will be forced to mature and accept this new normal and find a way to work together, and if WE vote smartly as few as we are that want change, we can get the right voices in the room to rather unite behind policies they have in common rather than jostling for power. The ANC have had a Ln obscure majority for some time now that is represented by a small portion of the potential voting aged population, so their hold is precarious at best especially with new parties and new voters to be accounted for. Ye they may still gain the most votes, but the days of absolute power are over. This gives me hope fore a brighter future, even though it’ll likely be a chaotic start for the next 10 - 15 years as we learn our new reality, but it will be better for us in the long run than having the ANC and any other fake-saviour party that will/has emerged.
