Totoliciu Areta Ildiko Maybe if you watch my basic video, Learn How to Dye and Color Easter Eggs- this will give you a better understanding of how the bees wax seals in each color.
Yes for any decorated eggshell that has been dyed or inked please use an oil based varnish. Water based varnishes will wash away the dyes or inks and ruin your artwork. Thank you for watching my videos.
Hi Lorrie Thankyou for sharing your time and expertise. As a beginner the information is invaluable. I have tried to find your website,lorriepopow.com but have been unable to locate it.Are you able to place a link, under your video's?
Hi Roksanna, First we need to learn to use a light touch in making our pencil lines. I make mine darker for the videos so they can be seen. Okay, there are a few things you can do to removed the pencil marks. By melting wax over the pencil marks you now can use that melted wax to rub over the pencil marks and most will come off. You can use Goof Off, Lighter Fluid, Mineral Spirits, or a white artist eraser.
