Craft Room Organization 2021| Time to start on.... the Alex Drawers!

okay...I've procrastinated as long as I could... this is going to be a big job. Let's start with the easiest and deal with the Distress Ink pad drawers.

It looks great. It is amazing the amount of space you came up with, just by placing them straight up. I do like the angle placement. I don’t have many, so I might try that. I love the new colors he is coming out with. I am getting the pink one today and next month I am getting the bluish grey one, he just came out with. This year I made the decision to buy the complete sets of the new colors. I was buying his inks, when ever I could find a good deal on eBay. I was getting inks that were dried up, to often. So I am just planning my budget to get new, with refills and I don’t have to worry about getting scammed.
If a new brand comes out, that is outstanding, I may buy a few favorite colors, but I am not going to try and get whole collections any more. It takes up to much space and costs to much money and I can’t use all those inks. I find no matter the brand, I keep going back to Tim Holtz inks.

Good for you in holding back on other lines. I know I will get all the distress but I’ve tried to hold back on buying others. Surely by now I have every color???? I like the slanted version too..I can always go back if I don’t like this configuration. ~Melanie

Revisiting organized spaces to make them better is just amazing. I find that I modify what I originally did 50% of the time and I usually like it better as I think I organized it better. I'm also rethinking my mixed media (that is not much) and journal making supplies (way more) organizations because I feel that I need a way that makes my looking for stuff easier (in some places labeling would be amazing as I always forget hahaha) but reorganizing all the rooms in my house to be prepared for summer is a priority, so as always one step foward is good for me ♡
