My favorite is sweet and sour meatballs. It's made with jellied cranberry instead of the grape jelly, with chill sauce and two tablespoons of brown sugar.
Priscilla you put love into everything you do, you always put others first and your fun to be around. You are really special and very beautiful. Thank you for sharing your life with us, you make the difference in countless lives. Xx
Chili sauce has been crazy hard to find here too! We do chili sauce, ketchup, brown sugar and soy sauce for our meatball sauce. It’s AMAZING! There is also a butter, mustard, Worcestershire, poppy seed mixture that amps ham and cheese sliders by a million!
I make the meatballs in my crockpot using sweet and sour sauce and a jar of spaghetti sauce. Just dump everything in there. 6 hours later, or is done. I keep it on warm in the crockpot so my food remains warm. Also using a slow cooker liner makes clean up a snap
Not a football fan but huge fan of apps! My favorite fast one is a block of cream cheese topped with jalapeno jelly with pretzel chips or crackers. It's insanely easy & delicious.
Hi Cilla, Your awesome and look great. I make my meatballs with a can of (jelled) cranberry sauce, 2 chili sauce, a can of chunk pineapple (also juice) and a jar of maraschino cherries. YUMMY!!! With the dates I cut them (not all the way through) put a piece of brie cheese then wrap in bacon. MMMMMMM!! All your parties look awesome. Hi Abbie!!!
Stuffed mushrooms, baked Brie bites, bacon and cheddar gougeres, and potatoes stuffed with chorizo & manchego cheese. Also love soft pretzel bites with a beer cheese sauce. Definitely gonna try the taco bites! So excited to have my football Sundays back!

I love to make a chili dip. You can take chili salsa and cayenne pepper and mixed together. Then you take cream cheese sour cream and garlic powder and mixed together. Then in a I usually use a meatloaf dish you layer the chili and the the sour cream mixture until you run out and then you sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Put it in an oven till it's good and bubbly. And then dip with any kind of chips I prefer the hint of lime chips

I make the meatballs with grape jelly but we use mustard! Just plain o yellow mustard… it is how my grandpa made them for parties and I still make it. I make them in the crockpot and they are always gone
These are some great ideas! I love the sort of non traditional ones. Those taco cups are so good and you could really do anything with them- Buffalo chicken, Thai chicken, cheeseburger filling. Love it!
I make a layered cold taco dip ... Layer creamcheese and sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, salsa, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives and pickled jalapenos. Eat with tortilla chips.
It all looks delicious! Our appetisers are a very seasonal thing, in summer we have a lot of prawns (shrimp) and other seafood. In Winter, which is our football season (we follow Rugby Union or Australian Rules Football down here) we eat similar things. Rice paper rolls, wontons, and other asian dishes are very popular.
Not a football fan but I still like the appetizers. My dad and I used to take dried beef and rinse it and then take softened cream cheese with a little horseradish mixed together and put it in the beef and roll them up. So good!
My favorite football food is mussels in wine with a good crusty garlic bread. I clean them and toss them in an aluminum pan with herbs, wine and butter, cover and toss in the oven. It's super easy.
What are the things that you put in the square spots with taco meat? My favorite is using the sliders and doing a Buffalo chicken slider mixing shredded chicken, cream cheese and Buffalo sauce then ranch or blue cheese for dipping

I'm not a big football fan, but my dad is (CFL, we're Canadian). Personally my favourite appetizers are mozzarella sticks, bruschetta, and spinach & artichoke dip
Yes I make the same meatball recipe. Everyone in my house LOVES them. Jelly and chilli sauce! I remember them at Thanksgiving dinners too growing up! 😃
This all looks delicious. I'm gonna have to get some meatballs and grape jelly. I just ran out of meatballs 2 days ago. Used them in a pasta and cheese dish for dinner. I love finger foods. I like having wings and bruschetta. Also slider sandwiches
Now that we have Chili Sauce back in the stores I ordered a whole case of it and that was last week and this week I ordered 2 more just to be sure I had enough for Football Season since Football Night is always at our house with at least 15-20 Guys and their wives/girlfriends over. Also, before you add the sauce to the meatballs… bake the meatballs until they are crunchy on the outside, let them cook down a little bit, make double of your sauce (you can always store the leftover sauce in the freezer for a week or longer). Now, in a crock pot add half your sauce, then the meatballs and then adjust sauce and let them cook for 20-30 minutes to absorb the sauce (I normally do it for 60-90 minutes before everyone is showing up). Then adjust your sauce with up to 1/4 cup of filtered water if needed. This sauce sauce s the first thing I make the night before and I put it in a container and let it marry it’s flavors overnight. I also make Baked Chicken Wings with Sugar Free BBQ sauce, I do mini grilled cheeses for the kids with French Fries, I order Pizza for the Adults, I also make Maryland Crab and Artichoke dip, BBQ baked beans, and then I make a Vegetarian Dish for us ladies if we opt for it. The other wives/girlfriends always bring something. Normally there is 1-2 things they each bring. Once that list is complete then the guys the day before make a liquor run (liquor can’t be sold on Sundays here) and about 2 hours or so before they make the Beer run so, there is a cooler on our back deck (sometimes 2 coolers) filled with Beer. In our garage I keep both fridges (with ice makers) full of Bottled Water, Sodas and Juices so I just make a run to the store after work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to pick up those things (all in bottles) and they get stocked by the kids and myself Friday evening and then I put a lock on the sofa and juice fridges and the night before I stock up the water fridge so everything is good and cold. I also make Iced Tea and Lemonade that is really, really strong so that I can pour it into my serving containers that sit on top of my counters (they have spouts) and just have to use my water filter pitcher a bunch of times to fill it up. Happy Football Season to you and your family. By the way… we do this for Baseball games too.
I am DEF a sucker for some "midwest sushi" as we call it . Very similar to Cila's ham cream cheese onion roll up but pickles instead of onion! We also love cocktail weenies in a similar sauce as Cilas meatballs-my son requests them at least once a week 😆😆
