No hord or special between 12:16 and 15:40 during the roaming boss fight. Lucky you ;) Are hords and specials just less likely during roaming boss fights or do i missed one? PS: I counted 25 special spawns (including groups of specials) until minute 22:00, making the spawn rate til then approximately 53 seconds. And this was consistent with a spawn rate allways between 20 sec and 1 min 20 sec. Except for this single instance where the time between spawns was 3 Minutes and 24 seconds.
This is caused by a mechanic called intensity. A quick explanation on how it works can be found here: www.reddit.com/r/Vermintide/comments/aj9fvx/the_events_of_vermintide_2_and_their_inner/eevkzff/?context=3
Interesting core, I'm curious to why you push those storm vermin in the beginning, was it to open the shield vermin up for attacks? Also at like 1:29 how do you deal with hookrats in a horde like that? Do you just kite back when you hear it until it reveals it self? Sometimes they are harder to see in a really dense skaven horde
Yeah i tried to push into pushattack but it didnt really work because there was too much other stuff in the way. Yeah kiting back untill you are able to spot him is generally a good strat. It gives you more time but you have to watch out for running attacks.
@@core7822 Nice! hey i have a question, when you as a slayer blockpush and left click attack with the 2 axes the animation goes blockpush then the attack shows as both axes goes from top to bottom in a straight line. When i do this is not the same is just one axe attacking. Also, how do you move so damn fast when you blockpush/attack? seems like you are able to get to specials so quickly.
@@sempleinvest906 If you hold leftclick while blocking you should be able to get the same attack. It also has a lot of forward momentum so its very good for moving around.
Which melee weapon do you think is best on merc now? On easier difficulties I always liked exec but i think the horde clear is kinda meh on legend, also because of the low mobility, or am I wrong? M&S feels awesome against hordes, but it seems lackluster against elites?
Do you feel like the block while heavy attacking actually does anything? When I use Bret sword I feel like it’s sort of useless - as in even when heavy attacking I get hit sometimes
It helps a bit when fighting mixed hordes or mass elites but its not something that changes the viability of a weapon completely. Its nice to have but thats about it.
OI. WE'RE THE BLOODY UBERSREIK 4... OR 1. IT DOESN'T MATTER!
(That was epic, btw. Good gameplay)

@@core7822 Much thx! Very interesting post. A system like that makes a lot of sense from a game design perspective. 'thumbs up' to you
at 00:21 and 00:23 how do you hit again overhead right after the charged attack?
light attack after the heavy and heavy after the light

wow lol that barrel you placed at the end that would later push the ogre down, was that pure luck or just big pp energy? jesus..
All planned :D

Hey mate, nice run. How you do the overhead spam to the rakogri? at 14:00
Heavy 3 chains into an overhead light that chains back into Heavy 3 again.
can you use this UI on the non modded servers?

I prefer Bret longsword the most. Mace and Sword a close second/first depending on what you want mobility/horde damage or armour damage.
Barrel for the win omg!!!
So how do you have a red glow on the weapons instead of blue? Is it just certain weapons glow red or?
Its the rgq mod on the modded realm

Kinda want to pick this weapon up, what’s the best attack sequences on it?
light heavy for hordes and chaining heavy 3 into light into heavy for armour/single target dps.
