As a Jamaican 🇯🇲 I was laughing before y’all even tasted it. Don’t drink rum as a shot 😂 ever. It’s strictly for my daiquiris and shakes otherwise…. 😂 but rum does give a nice flavor to anything if used right. Love that it got the highest rating.
As a South African I wonder if y'all added two ice cubes to the Amarula, makes it even better 😀

As a Jamaican, I approve! No Jamaican home is complete without a few bottles of Wray and Nephew. LOL! And, one of the things I brought back from South Africa when I went over a decade ago, and continue to buy from time to time, is Amarula. Yum! I don't like most alcohol, and wine and beer I detest, so I cannot comment on the other drinks.
As a Jamaican, I saw the Wray and decided I had to watch this video. I was wondering if they were going to drink it straight or with a chaser. Uncle Ray and his Nephew are not to be taken lighly, you guys had me cracking up 🤣🤣

The 63% is just the one Jamaica exports.
They keep the stronger stuff on the island, that's why when Jamaicans go home they still bring bottles of JW back with them to their new home countries, because the Rum from the island is stronger.

As a Brazilian, I NEED them to try cachaça (Brazilian distilled spirit made from fermented sugarcane juice). I've never even drinked anything alcoholic other than champagne, but I know for a fact that cachaça is STRONG!!! I actually checked the internet, it says it has between 38% and 48%, so yeah, pretty strong.
Brazil has some really cool alcoholic beverages, to be honest. I think the most know one is caipirinha (which has cachaça as one of it's ingredients), but there's also like, fruity drinks, or pure spirits, there's a lot of beers brands too... Yeah, Brazilian ones would be cool to see.

Loved this! Just to let you guys know Wray is just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the island rums. Sunset rum from St Vincent is 84.5% and chased with soda and Trinidad have some too, I stop with my island tho for safety!! Wray is maad enough🇯🇲🤭😄

Guys, that is not how we drink Wray&Nephew Rum 😄😆🤣 You're supposed to chase it with pineapple juice/Pepsi/orange juice/ting (JA grapefruit soda)/ fruit punch etc. Only real rumheads would have it like that. Sangster's Rum Cream would've been an excellent drink for you guys to sample also. Perfection in many flavours.

I felt bad for them, as an American who likes bourbon yes technically it's whiskey but it doesn't hit like whiskey and you have to know that going in or it's going to surprise you. I'm also a rum guy, I've never had the Wray and Nephew but I've heard of it, in the states, we have Cruzan 151(75.5%), and it's no joke.

Polish girl here! It was really surprising to see y'all know about beer and syrup combo!!! It's an alternative that you can get in majority of the bars while ordering a draft beer (rasperry syrup is the most popular, but you can get a ginger one, mango, even coconut, whatever matches your taste buds haha). I love this option when i crave something sweeter or different than a regular lager taste (especially in summer) and honestly I did catch myself missing it while being abroad for a long time haha

I turned 18 recently but i have lived in england since i was 9 so the strongest jamaican drink i ever had was sorrel and rum and raisin ice cream.. i mentioned wray and nephew to my mom and her face fell 😭 she told me is 100% alcohol and knowing jamaica thats probably closer to 200%.. they will be at their funerals tommorrow 💀

Jamaican here..saw the bottle so I watched. You guys are brave taking white rum straight. That ish is lethal. We have quite a few other local aged rums, but to see two of our most basic ,and I dont mean that in a bad way. Just these two are available and affordable to everyone; get the seal of approval, brings a smile. Now go ahead and try some of the aged stuff!
Brazil deserves a full video of beers, we are the biggest producers of beer in the entire world. You guys should try our "cachaça" too.
Cachaca is so smooth compared to the sharp taste of our rum 🇯🇲. My family loved the bottle of 51 I gave them once. Abracos da Jamaica!
Amarula is the best liqueur!!! We have it mixed with ice cream sometimes. My grandma drinks it on ice. So good, it's like pudding
