Hi guys. This amazing lifestyle will surely make you hop with happy craziness lol. My wife and myself still young with a baby of 1 years old is planning to do this. We saving up to buy land. We have a 7 year goal. Where about are you guys in South Africa. I reside in the Western Cape , Cape Town. I was born to live on a farm. However I was born in the city and living in the city up until this point lol. However wherever I am. I always have my hands in the dirt. Growing things. Keeping animals. Loving biodiversity. Is your pool a eco pool? Did you build it yourself? We off grid, no eishkom and rain and dam water to keep us alive, with a wood stove, Suzie, to bake and cook all our meals. Greetings from the Langkloof

Hello Patricia. We are fortunate that our farm is situated in the middle of a Nature Reserve, there is no public road past our farm. Only the municipality comes past to check the dam levels here. Very safe.

Crime is everywhere Pat don’t let that stop you from living your best life,
Humans hey lol!! Security companies can be present 24hrs for a fee which we wouldn’t mind! They can always pick us some wine on their patrols 😉
