Did you have a shop off 60? There was an old card shop back in the day off 60 in an old plaza heading towards the Brandon Town Center. The shop moved next to the movie theatre and then disappeared.
No, I didn’t have a store in Brandon but lived there and remember that store. I was doing Card Shows at the time.

I live about 10 mi uses from Brandon, FL. I bought a collection that was owned by someone that had a card shop in Tampa in the 1990s recently.

@@ACollectorsDream I know the owners name was Jerry Miller. I think he had a shop near those locations.
The centering on many of the cards (especially that Ripken traded) will destroy the grades. Just me, but I'd rather spend $2300 on cards that were already graded than send those in.
Thanks Snarky for your comments. I thought about not getting them graded and buying more cards but since I’m retired and have sooo many cards and sets already, I needed for my family to know their value. Family are not collectors and have no idea of what I have. I have every set from 70’ to present. And some 50’s and 60’s. Last 5 years have been selling some sets and cards and completed my Mantle run. I pretty much have all the cards I want. I’ve been collecting since 1970 and was lucky to buy them years ago, when they were cheap. Will show more of my cards in future videos. Check out my Mantle collection video.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I know you own '52 Mantle which is amazing, but 90% of these cards SHOULD NOT BE GRADED to SGC or anyone for that matter, not worth the $25-$30/per card fee
I think the 50’s 60’s 70’s stars will do well. Agree that some probably 25% will not be worth it but depends on the grade. Paying $23 per card. We’ll see. Thanks again for watching my videos.
