Thanks a lot, I impressed a British guy. I work in a hostel, so, he was with his friends and, after having lunch, his friends went for some tea, and he still was in the table, and I said to him, fancy a tea? And he and some friends who were around started to laughing, it was soooo funny to them to hear a Caribbean girl from Colombia saying such expression!
Thanks to you, I could used it in the correct moment! I really love it! I love British accent!
    Greetings from Colombia!

I lived in Britain in my late teens and when I returned to my country 28 years ago I was not consciously aware these expressions were exclusively British, which sort of hindered communication when I chatted with some American mates. Top notch vid, mate. Tha very much!

I really fancy things like these because they are not mentioned or written in textbooks. I've learnt English a lot, I can understand what you said in the videos pretty well. But I don't actually understand much when native speakers talk to each other. It's partly because of the fast pace, phrasal verbs, and mostly because of slang & expressions. So I'm very thankful for your lessons.

I understand your problem. A lot of my Skype students have this issue and the only real way to get past it and improve understanding is by listening and / or having conversations with natives... A LOT!

I simple adored your lesson because that kínd of input is not frequently included in most textbooks; for ESL students it is very frustrating not to be able to make any sense of what is being said among natives when they use slang. The first time I was in a situation like that, I was really sad, thinking that I was never going to understand spoken English. What you are doing here is hugely helpful. Continue to share your culture with us. Looking forward to your next Brittish idiom. Greetings from México City. Thank you.

Hi, I am an English learner. I have been watching you for a while and I find your videos very helpful and useful. I would be very grateful if you could do more videos on the topic of slang words. Thank you.:)
