When i was younger and before we had internet, i was often bored but it forced me to take up creative things, like hobbies and interests. These kept me occupied and gave me a chance to learn things and grow, mentally, physically and spiritually. Now i am finding, everything is here in my hand at the touch of a button. Although its mentally exciting, it squashes creativity and physical experience and makes me lazy and ultimately lonely and empty. There are lots of good things on the internet but it is so important to keep it in its place, knowing that the best comes from real living and not being plugged into the virtual world. The only way we can give ourselves a quality life experience is by forcing ourselves out into the real world
Ive been going out and trying for years. Its still a struggle. Even having a good social group. Its still like no one wants to get to know anyone. And sometimes they do. But its for manipulation reasons.
I feel you bro. It has been the same for me. But I don't want to give up and become like everyone else. I try to be the person that I would love to have as a friend ;) Bless you
some men are and some men aren't depends on how good you look if you talk about relationships with women and if you talk in general is because people are being brainwashed into being more and more egocentristic but the issue is complex and has many layers to it .
After many years working in the tourism field and observing couples travelling, I can tell you that often attractive girls have an average looking boyfriend that has a great personality. I highly agree with the egocentristic part. Les't stay strong together. Peace
I feel like the problem is on guys (and girls) partially because they are struggling to adapt to the changes. You do have the power to stop wanking to a screen. You can also choose to cut off all the apps that steal your time, if you are worried that you lose connection you can still keep the chat apps active in most of the applications while removing the doom-scrolling. I do agree it needs to be spoken off though. Myself included I've struggled to remove earphones out of my ear while doing stuff during the day - this constant barrage of data hemorrhages your will and focus.
Yes! It takes some disciple to remove these distractions, but as soon as you deeply realize that you are doing it for a good reason it becomes natural and almost effortless. Bless you
My advice (at least for young men raised in Christianity as a kid) is to go back to church, throw yourself into the tradition, nail your sins to the cross, find ways of serving the poor and the downtrodden, and help build Christian community.
Brother Christianity is why most are broken u dont heal in a cult Christianity has done more harm than good its not god or Jesus its the follower yall claim God but act like demons most have suffered due to the evils of your so called faith
