I have one suggestion that could be applied to all of your reviews. When it is possible to do so you should brush the faces, nooks and crannies of these devices when doing up close shots. A small 1" soft painters brush should do the trick nicely. It is very distracting (to me at least) to look at all of the dust and small fibers that stand out in all of the up-close shots. soyou say always on with wifi off and you came in at 18hrs... then would I be avle to get the full 2ish days with screen always off (unless tapped)? My Watch R would bearly touch 4-5 days with very VERY lite use,was just curious to see how long it would last by just using it as I intended, glancing at info/nots as they came instead of playing with it's features. Otherwise, how would you say this compares to the Watch R? formidable, demolishes, or should I just stick to the Watch R?
So if it's in ambient sleep mode or whatever and you raise your arm to look at it does the full screen light up as it would when you push the button on the side????

Just a minor correction, the Sony SmartWatch 3 includes NFC. It's my current working/gym/running/outdoor activity watch. The Huawei Watch is quite nice, and I would love to have one for more dressed up occasion, but that still have to wait until the price is more affordable. Until then the Asus ZenWatch (original version) will do.

Speaking of Android smart watches, will you guys review the Omate TrueSmart+ smartwatch when it comes in November? I remembered it being a big deal back then when it had its successful kickstarter project and it kind of faded from the competition.
I hope it does have a built in speaker, means some great things to come to android wear! But until NFC is included it doesn't really have advantage over pulling my phone out to check notification and wearing a standard watch other than to save a few seconds. As much as I want an android wear, it doesn't justify the price for what you actually get.

quite impressed at how smartwear is advancing. But still needs day to day charging. I already have to charge my tablet and phone. sometimes a battery pack as well. Don't really want to charge more stuff

I prefer the less "business" and more sporty look of the new Moto 360 and I might get one once the reviews have been out, but the sapphire crystal and the display under it, since it's AMOLED, do seem more advanced
wow thats one hell of a nice watch! i was gonna get the Gear s2 to pair with my Note 5 but when i seen how small it was i was like thats it? is it a ladies watch based on the size of the screen? so i left bummed out but this watch is nice at almost the price of my Citizens Night Hawk watch for the black on black metal band version. i would definitely buy this one based on its large display size and design.
Very nice looking piece of hardware but I'm still not seeing any reason to own one of these when I have a smartphone always in my pocket. Maybe next year's lot will persuade me to get one.

The design is going in the right direction. The charger and the battery stamina are not yet in the correct direction tho'. I will still stick with the normal watches for now. I still see real attraction to go for Smartwatches over the current normal watches, at least not yet. Let see how things go in the next few years.
In my opinion, Android Wear should get a new, updated review. Every tech blog/channel is saying the same thing with the Moto 360 2nd gen or the Huawei Watch reviews: Android Wear is 'Android Wear'. Android Wear has received a sturdy amount of updates after it's launch, so I think that all the Android Wear reviews are quite obsolete these days..
This should give people hope for the Nexus 6P; enough to realize (as I have, once logic took over) that since it's supposed to be a metal unibody, the (ugly) leaked device we've all seen to this point is not the final product. I'm looking forward to next Tuesday's announcement. It should be interesting, since it seems the 6P takes it's design cues from the Huawei P8.
+PTM not only that, also since it has a speaker and LG is about to launch and lte urbane with aw, all hints at a future wear build that enables that speaker and allows it to work as bt headset!
i am totally ignoring the crazy price for an acesecore to the phone you can buy the oneplus 2 or the great moto x style i think the maximum price for a smart watch shoud be 150 $ in my case i have got the first Lg G watch for 80 $ and it does the job well of course it doesn't have all the latest features but it still performs great
Best looking smart watch yet, but they are all still way to expensive. The max should be 200$, expecially since there's a newer model every 2-3 months and the older models hardly get any of the new features with software updates,and they are only one year old!

I've never had The charging problem, when I put it on the port it hooks up perfectly and the entire screen changes and lets me know it's charging.

stoppsi You can have it measure your heart rate away from the phone, but it can't be paired to anything but your phone and bluetooth headphones

I have the Gear S2. The apps are just too limited, otherwise it's great.

Huawei needs to add a gesture to easily turn up brightness maybe a two finger double tap or something

hmm, lot's of pro's only con is charging ... hard to decide between this and the Motorola 360
