It makes no sense that Annie Leonhard is Russian she is actually German also 4 other characters are questionable (Levi Ackermann, Jean Kirschtein, Sascha Braus, Hanji Zoë)
Both Levi and Jean are 100% french names. But I do agree that some may be misleading as many of the characters are mixed nationality. And this video was made base on their names and it's origin. There is a reference Link in the description , you can check it out for more details.
