      Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE)
      NASA's Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE)
      NASA's Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) observes a wide array of particles that flow toward Earth from the sun to better understand the great space weather system that connects the sun to our planet. Credit: NASA/H. Zell
      Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) observes particles of solar, interplanetary, interstellar, and galactic origins, spanning the energy range from solar wind ions to galactic cosmic ray nuclei.
      The Earth is constantly bombarded with a stream of accelerated particles arriving not only from the Sun, but also from interstellar and galactic sources. The study of these energetic particles will contribute to our understanding of the formation and evolution of the solar system as well as the astrophysical processes involved. The Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) spacecraft carries six high-resolution sensors and three monitoring instruments that sample low-energy particles of solar origin and high-energy galactic particles with a collecting power 10 to 1000 times greater than past or planned experiments. From a vantage point approximately 1/100 of the distance from the Earth to the Sun, ACE performs measurements over a wide range of energy and nuclear mass, under all solar wind flow conditions and during both large and small particle events including solar flares.
      ACE provides near-real-time solar wind information over short time periods. When reporting space weather, ACE can provide an advance warning (about one hour) of geomagnetic storms that can overload power grids, disrupt communications on Earth, and present a hazard to astronauts.
      The prime objective of ACE is to measure and compare the composition of several samples of matter, including the solar corona, the solar wind, and other interplanetary particle populations, the local interstellar medium (ISM), and galactic matter. While there has been great progress addressing these objectives, the changing conditions over the solar cycle present new opportunities. In addition, new observations and theoretical advances, new missions, and the evolving goals of NASA and the Sun-Solar- System Connection (S3C) Theme have introduced new challenges, including the goal of achieving the scientific understanding needed to forecast space weather in the coming years when humans will venture beyond Earth's protective magnetosphere.

    *Fun Fact* The sun has a twin - - - that being Siruis. They revolve around a fixed tortion point in counter space that is between the two. Their relative motion is that of a vesica piscis. There are points at which we are closer together, and points when we are not

      just searching about this fact. interesting..

    • @DiyEcoProjects
      @DiyEcoProjects 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@duongthimyngancasio9275 Nice one. "there are points at which we are closer together" what i mean is on the 26000yr cycle, there are two points where we are closer, these are the polar shift points.
      When Sirius went supernova and broke in two, (theory) a chunk of it flew off and came into our solar system, whacked into Tiamat and created the asteroid belt. Then it condensed again, around a chunk of molten Sirius into our earth. So our core is from Sirius and the skin of our earth is from the original Tiamat.
      If you are into energies, our kundalini awakens from the earth - whereas spiritual prana comes from Sirius. The sun is our phyiscal energy, and siruis can be thought of as our spiritual energy.
      Something i wrote: To the maya, venus held a special connection to divinity. They tracked the stars and came up with calanders that counted vasts amounts of time. The Earth Wobbles on its axis every 26,000yrs which means that from thier viewpoint stars revolve around in an arc that creates "the precession of the equinoxes". The maya were not the only ones to discover this count, Druids and Hindus. Every 13000yrs on this cycle theres a magnetic polar shift, which brings with it Earthquakes, Tsunami "biblical" floods, and 1000mile an hour winds. 13000yrs ago, the magnetic north pole was locatred over Hawai'i and egypt region was lush with vegetation for example. Previous civilisations perhaps...
      If you think of this 26000 time frame as Summer solstice, Winter solstice and the equinoxes. Then 13000yrs ago was the hieght of summer, summer solstice [Closer to Sirius] then polar shift upheaval. Then 13000yrs a journey into the darkness of winter where consciousness shuts down [Furthest away from Sirius].
      Then we get to the modern age, and anyone alive on the year 2012 at Winter solstice night was actually alive to experience the start of a new 26000yr count at dawn, the first rays of sunlight... lots of people meditated worldwide at this special event to bring about harmony, shedding of the old. It was a symbolic and energetic gateway to do with our collective consciousness, physical time in relationship to the stars and nothing to do with mechanical clock time. A "Transit of Venus" occures every 8 yrs where venus passes in front of the sun ~ BUT ~ this pair happens only ONCE every 26000 on a winter solstice day!!! so to the maya this was called "The birth of Venus" and was an awespicious time to tune in and dream the world back into being
      Anyway, just sharing some thoughts. Welcome to discuss, all the best
