  • How on Earth are you supposed to listen, process, and respond to a person at a reasonable pace in English? You've got to think while listening! Thinking while listening to English is not easy, especially when your inner "thinking voice" is louder than the voice your listening to (rather, you are focusing on one or the other). You may find this easier if you are naturally extroverted, but introverts may struggle with this. So, here are 5 tips we've picked up in our own language-learning journeys to help you out!

I grew up in a British colony, for this reason am able to articulate myself using basic English. My subconscious never lets me down. My biggest challenge is written English, especially if am writing in a professional setting. I make way too many mistakes and I feel like giving up. It's too hard.

Written English is tough, especially in getting clear and concise professionally. Get feedback from someone who does it well to improve. Online courses are helpful information, but meaningless without review and feedback on your work.

During this lesson I tried a new method. Maybe new or maybe not. I came up with it, but maybe someone else had a similar idea before.
I paused the video every few sentences and tried to comment. Answer - agree, disagree. Add a few words or sentences.
    Thanks for your cooperation ;)
